  1. What is your purpose in getting a new catback? Louder? Better flow? Or getting a specific tone? I'm assuming your corolla is a 1.6 or 1.8, in that case something along the lines of 2" or 2.25" mandrel bent straight through would probably be ideal for a daily driver. 2.5" may be a bit too big, you would lose some low end torque, but if you are planning to upgrade the cams in future, 2.5" would be right for those. If you just want it to be loud, then 2.5" would be the go. If you just want it to be a bit louder and sportier, consider just taking out the stock mufflers, and replacing with a hotdog and a straight through muffler. I would encourage you to do more research though, exhausts are a very subjective area and everyone has a different opinion of them. For all I know my opinion could be wrong.
  2. Lookin good, sitting nice and flush, a big improvement from when I last saw it at the july meet :P
  3. So Clean, looking mint as! What's your process for maintaining the paint? It looks so glossy and deep :D
  4. Merry Christmas TOCAU'ers. Have a good one and if you're drinking, do it responsibly and be safe on the roads!
  5. I'm out, working that night. Catch you all in the new year, with hopefully some updates to my car by then.
  6. The footwell lights look good, might have to do that to my other ride :P. Where'd you source the LED strips from?
  7. Looks great, best Yaris/Vitz I've seen! Is the Bodykit Factory/TRD? It's a shame your country's roads aren't in a good enough state to fully enjoy this car, something like this is begging to be driven :D
  8. How about a post in this thread too if its not any trouble? So new guys like me can see it too.
  9. Spotted a Black Chaser Tourer V yesterday around lunchtime, not sure if it's someone off here.
  10. Karts, then cruise up to a decent kebab joint as a convoy, to get kebabs (duh!) and brag about your karting skills. Though go kart places require bookings don't they?
  11. Good score on the audio, car's looking mint as well.
  12. Congrats on getting it past engineering, once the plates are on you'll be able to really enjoy the fruits of your labour!
  13. What a difference, the red looks so rich now. Kudos to BGPete for a job well done, hope you keep up the maintenance on it Jeffy! :P
  14. I think there were 3 or 4 of us who got a Buxton Burger. I don't think anyone got the Cathedral burger though. May have to try it next time!
  15. Now that the official monthly meets are om hiatus until next year, how about we get these mini meets happening? I never been to one and would like to check it out...
  16. Maybe the ABS can be disabled by removing a fuse or relay (It works in a VY Commodore), but best you research before trying it, It is very likely it will throw up a warning light, and who knows what else it will do?
  17. **Pictures I deliver** I'm sure someone else will upload better pics later.
  18. I didn't actually sell this LOL. I didn't bring it to the meet today as I am in the middle of fixing the below...
  19. It takes guts to drive on a racetrack in wet conditions, but it can teach you some things about your car's ability to hold the road in the wet, which you can apply to the streets. Your 'data' based analysis reminds me of Ryosuke Takahashi from Initial D lol.
  20. Hope you used a proper wiring kit for the amp! I don't suppose you'll be using that printer to print a few stickers/decals for the car?
  21. souns perfect , the home maker is tha where autobahn jbhi and bunning are? or is it near the bike place? Bunnings and Autobarn are in their own little section. JB hifi is actually part of the homemaker center, with a bunch of other stores. South East Suburbs Premeet Where: Narre Warren Homemaker Centre, Narre Warren. Park up where I've marked the crude green X Time: Meet at 8:30am for an 8:45 departure, which should see us arrive at Diamond Creek Macca's at roughly 10am. Let me know if you are coming to the SE pre meet so I know who to wait for. If you like, PM me for my mobile number.
  22. Can that skateboard steer? Looks mint though, would be sick to deck it out with custom graphics of your ride.
  23. Ok How about making the South East Premeet at the Narre Warren Homemaker Centre? It's quiet enough in the morning so we wont be lost in the crowd, and is close to the freeway. From there we jump onto the monash, exit at springvale road, follow that until the eastern freeway, jump on that then exit at station street at box hill, then continue until we arrive at diamond creek?
  24. There's no south east premeet organised as of yet. How far into the south east are you?
