  1. 'Rain' will not force itself up your intake and into your engine. You would have to, at the very least, immerse your pod filter in water to even stall the engine, even then, you would most likely only get water in the intake manifold. Trust me, been there, done that.
  2. Spotted -JC- turning onto the Western Freeway outbound from Moggill Road at 11:45pm last night (35 minutes ago). Once again, didn't notice it was you until your headlights were shining away from my direction. I just remember seeing the front end in a silhouette form due to the headlights and thinking "that looks sweet", then saw the side and quickly thought "is that JC?", then saw the rear and was like "I should have waved". He gets around a bit it seems, this JC. Didn't spot either of you guys . . . . lol, paying attention much?
  3. something wrong with the operator more like it. wheres the rest of they dyno sheet? i want to see what gear, and what ambient and intake temps you were using. Took the words right out of my mouth.
  4. Spotted '00UCH' in his Aurion coming off the Riverside Expressway at about 7.25am this morning.
  5. We just slapped some cheap gloss black on it after a quick sand. I wasnt going to go to too much trouble with them as they had plenty of stone chips in them and I basically cbf going to the trouble of getting them perfect. We just bent the mesh into shape and put a dab of glue around it, that one has been on the car for about 18 months and its still in perfect shape.
  6. Lol, I must admit, I was thinking "How in the Fork did he not see me". That thing of yours is looking good mate. And I have a feeling given my new location, we will be passing there most mornings if thats your way to work. B)
  7. You mean like this? Rain has not caused me any issues using the K&N that is supplied with a CES CAI. Re: The road is hot in summer? Are we taking our Corolla's a little too seriously again guys?
  8. How boring do I feel right now . . . . JC is my initials.
  9. I have to agree with you. I had these tyres on my SS ute years ago when I had it, and they were that sticky it even used to get axle tramp in the wet!!! Very nice tyre IMHO.
  10. Its a race car, race cars need downforce. Nuff Said.
  11. The are identical as far as I am aware. My BB harness worked fine on both Dave's Pre-Facelift and my Facelift.
  12. He certainly doesn't look happy in that pic though . . . . . Window of goodness must have been shut that night was it mate? :P
  13. I can't comment for certain, as I don't own a TRD CAI, but I have never heard a thing about them being different between 122 and 123. I can't recall any for sale threads quoting whether it was for a 1z or 2z, so I can only assume they are the same. I know there are other CAI's that differ from 122 to 123, but I'm 99.9% sure the TRD one fits both.
  14. I guess this depends on your setup, these were the first two things I tried, didn't seem to cause any issues at all. ;) Tune tune tune, soon soon soon B)
  15. well the big bitches just booted your ***** off the forums. Corey, you always ruin my fun, I had a bridge I was going to sell this bloke . . . . . Wamb? Is that short for Waaambulance?
  16. Gav - That was me alright. SD - I would have gone with Jesus Christ . . . . .
  17. I'll give you bloody soft. I came past at about 10.20pm and everyone had gone home . . . . <_< Hey cuz, is your number plate white on black with "OJC..."? If so, I think I saw you in a silver S'tivo along the Captain Cook bridge yesterday. G'day, :) Gav. Yeah mate, that would have been me. Bout 5pm or thereabouts? What are you on about SD? James? I think that ginger hair is affecting his brain again . . . . lol
  18. I'll give you bloody soft. I came past at about 10.20pm and everyone had gone home . . . . <_<
  19. If everyone is at the train, I might pop in after I finish work number 2. Should be there about 10.20 or so if anyone is still about.
  20. I can confirm that the BB harness works 100% perfectly. Temp guage works, Air Con is perfect, everything works, no CEL, no airbag light etc etc. If I didn't already have one, I would be waiting for SD's offerring, I have a feeling it is going to be very very similar to the BB harness. From what I can gather, BB want approx $2800 AUD for the PFC and their Harness, which would put the harness at about $1500 if you take the approx going rate for a PFC (ebay price) from the total cost of the BB stuff.
  21. I haven't got anything of this nature. Dunno if I would be concerned about tossers trying to impress me by turning their stereo's up, moreso the fact that I have always been of the opinion that a car stereo sticker on your car pretty much screams "come and steal my stereo".
