  1. Another vote for the above. Agreed they were busy and it took a while, but normal people (ie: not me) dont usually want to watch to make sure they dont scratch my new rims.
  2. Probably to keep up with the Type R and Type X Splits I would say. Welcome back Elle, nice little Yaris you have there.
  3. Just installed the set of these I got in this group buy. The result is absolutely amazing. Thanks again for organising this Clarence. Those of you debating whether or not to go HID like I was, DOOOO EEEEEETTT!!!!!!!!1111
  4. Go and get yourself something with a tailshaft and uni-joints mate . . . . heaps cheaper to replace than the myriad of bits and pieces your going to break doing FWD burnouts. B)
  5. Not too sure if I'm keen to get out and about in the rain kids. Im definitely a maybe at this point. I know its all of about 800m from my place, but if I have a beer between now and then its a very long walk in the rain . . . . .

  7. Mr North speaks the truth. From memory the cruise in my car was installed in another members sportivo as a factory option. I think the brand is Spartan? The unit consists of the brain box which hides up under the dash, the brake switch, clutch switch and the infa-red control which attaches to the steering wheel. There is a small sensor that mounts near where you put the key in the ignition. DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT rely on taking note of what colour the wires are if you remove a system from another sportivo to put in yours. My unit came out of an 05 Sportivo and we installed it in my 05 Sportivo. The conversations were something like this: Joe: That one goes to the purple wire Corey: There are 13 purple wires going into this plug and so on and so forth. The only other thing to be aware of is that you will most likely need to remove your strut brace to mount the box in the engine bay. Be very careful that where you mount this box does not impede the strut brace being re-fitted . . . . . eh Corey? One other thing we did discover during the install process is that it is physically impossible for a human being to not laugh if they are arched backwards over the drivers side door sill . . . . . I still chuckle, try it sometime. I have attached some pics of the main bits to give you an idea of the kit. There are no pics of up under the dash as I am too fat and lazy. Besides, if I broke into laughter (see above) there would be no one there to drag me out of the car. Steering Wheel Controls Infa-Red Sensor Engine Bay Throttle Body
  8. Hey Guys, I kinda decided at about 9.45pm that I would come out for a look. Was great to meet everyone, there are certainly a few new faces since I was out last. Cheers for making me feel welcome guys and girls. JC
  9. this is clearly the most important question so far, Yes it will fit 1zz. :D You know me mate, always tackling the big issues . . . . . . :D
  10. I might be out tonight too. Evo, if I do come, did you want me to bring those rims for you to have a look at?
  11. If I buy 2, will that add 40hp? Will this fit a 1zz?
  12. Corey? Your thoughts. Bloody spammers . . . .
  13. Oi, back up Old Man River, I did search, I even called uncle Corey . . . . the manual ended up supplying the required information . . . :P
  14. All good, found it. They are H11's for those of you playing at home.
  15. Anyone know what size the foglight globes are in a facelift sportivo? I know they are either H11 or H3, can anyone confirm? Cheers JC
  16. I found the plate with all the codes on the frame of the passenger door on my 05 Sportivo. Be careful, as I had trouble finding the right one too, there are 2 different silvers. 'Silver Glaze' is Pre-Facelift and 'Sterling Silver' is the facelift colour. It is definitely on Autobarn's computer, I had some mixed up last weekend. Yup, thanks for the reply. I've tried looking inside the engine bay. it's definately a 199. According to Autobarn, it's a 'metalic Silver' ( CODE = PJ9042) which he believe that the paint will not come out the same colour as the car. that's why i'd like to reconfirm with the forum which paint code to buy (ie ; PJ XXXX) to get the same effect. Send SILVABULLIT a pm mate, Im sure he had some made up for his 03 model at some point.

  18. Ok, I had a set of the Bridgestone Adrenalins fitted on the weekend, and promptly gave them a good workout over the weekend. Im very very impressed at this point, these things stick like ****** to a blanket . . . . . no idea on wear just yet, but happy with my purchase so far.
  19. No.. When I got my G-Games, they came with black nuts (with locknuts). I put the red ones on myself. Dont suppose you wanna sell me your G-Games nuts? Geez I'm glad this is a wheel thread, I'm feeling a little uncomfortable with all this talk about nuts . . . . . <_<

  21. Ooh if you twist my arm hard enough i wil drive your car... Too easy mate, I have a feeling you may even be helping the passion fingers install some HID's on saturday, so that will work out well . . . . . . :D
  22. 9pm on a Saturday night? If I have to come, you might have to drive Uncle Bren. You know how I love a beer on the weekends . . . . . . .
  23. They look good as is. Did you get the G-Games nuts with them? You mean the red ones like in your pic? Not at this point, still having trouble justifying nearly $200 for a set of wheel nuts after spending $2700 on rims and tyres in the last week . . . . . lets see what happens when the wallet recovers. lol
  24. As promised . . . . . they would have been here sooner, but I have been busy 'evaluating the performance' of the new tyres Sorry about the dodgy mobile phone pics, some better ones to come, but I was busy . . . . . lol Im considering going back to black on the hubs (currently red) and maybe even the callipers . . . . any thoughts?
