Only people with small pointy bums will fit into the seat of a XR5 ;)

Run about 1/3 down from the hardest setting in the rear(not 1/3 of a turn) and run about 1/2 down from the hardest setting in the front for everyday driving. Track work/twisties adjust the front to 1/4 from hardest setting and leave the back alone. If you run harder in the front you'll get bump understeer in the front as it's too stiff and you need some bump absorbtion to keep the wheels in contact with the black stuff. Run about 1/2 to 3/4 degree negative camber on the front with a strut brace and on the rear put a heavier sway bar. These settings with kings in my car make it ride nicely day to day and handle great on a spirited drive with great control. I have made my front camber adjustable but another way is to get the whiteline camber bolts.

If you have worn ball joints or tie rod ends the car will steer badly all over the road and with road surface changes it will wander badly plus when you change gears it will feel like it wants to change lanes. the car in general no matter what the speed will wander over the road you will be constantly adjusting the wheel to keep it in a straight line.

Could be the tyres. Not the first time that I've heard of tyres causing this type of thing. Could also be the camber of the highway as well.

Perhaps instead of new mods should the more inactive ones become more active?? Or if they no longer wish to be one then a vote would perhaps be the logical answer.

Well the inside word is that Bill is installing a couple of turbonators. Then in the intake there will be 2 hiclones and on the fuel lines there will be the energy polariser. Mate what a weapon it's gonna be. you'll be the envy of all ebay povo modders world wide :P :P :P :P . The truth of the matter is that Xoom will be replacing some internals of this engine. He's using VW Kombi conrods cause they're bullet proof and bigger than a 350 Chev. They don't break!!!!! Crank will be out of the engine in the current Tarago with some minor clearancing. Monkey wrench cams with titanium valve springs and retainers and chrome moly collets. Head will be ported and flowed by RBT Motorsport with a the head surface remachined for slightly more compression(about 12.5:1) with cylinder liners standing up a little bit over the head surface to allow the copper shim head gasket to seal tightly and eliminate an leaks. He's still deciding on whether to go dry sump with oil tank in the boot or get a custom sump with surge plates and baffles and extra oil holding capacity. Larger injectors out of SR20DET Nissan which allow more flow. Custom made fuel rail and lines with Walbro fuel pump and rising rate fuel regulator. CES are designing a full custom set of long primary headers with merge collectors, hi flow cat and custom made system with 3" piping and the requested 4" tips. Titanium super light flywheel and ceramic triple puck clutch to hold the power. Gearbox will also hold Kaz close ratio gear set and a LSD as well. Hope this stops a little speculation. Hope I didn't give away too much Xoom ;)

Egene is the other mod who does stuff too but has been busy and hasn't been on here too much of late. Danthuyer has asked to be removed from moderator status as he is selling his car and doesn't have the time to do it anymore. He only visits here on the very odd occasion. Peekay hasn't owned a Toyota for nearly 2 years and you will find him more on the Honda forums now than you will on here. 2zzge sportivo is someone in the Uk (we think) as nobody knows exactly who it is and isn't a regular contributor to this forum. Do we need some new moderators??? Firstly that's for Steve to decide if that's ok and secondly you guys have to agree who you want to add as moderators to join the current active ones who will do the job properly.

Yeh...wont get as many keen to join in because more chance of more severe damage to cars when going around a race way. Also, many tracks will now allow you to complete the entire course without a full cage etc...i know qld raceway you are only allowed to do the back half in a street car.... AND i think to do any track racing you need a CAMS day licence don't you? like $80...hrmm :( Sounds like your scared Greg. Hope you not gonna call in sick at the last moment feeling "rancid" :P
