  1. Looks like my dad's old Cressida - oh yes, the memories :P How does it handle?
  2. I took my snorkel out, and have found that on cold/cool mornings, the car is sluggish, especially when in low revs in any gear. My suggestion is stay in gear longer (not too long, m'kay), and see if the car becomes more responsive. That may tell you the crack in the airbox is too big... or something...

Would Nelson wear only white? I thought he was into super-fab ghey colours...
  4. Wow. That needs a bit of work. Have fun! Convert it to a GT4
  5. (And then he saw the 'serious' comment) - So I guess chocolate scratch-n-sniff brown is out of the question? What do you think about going two-tone? Corba GT stripes or Ford XR side stripes?
  6. I guess those 2 years of research paid off! Can't complain about those figures... (I want)
  7. Matrix is a sports utility station wagon. Nice grab on the plates - the hard core rolla fans will understand!
  8. I am sooo colourblind! Team clean!
  9. Mmmm Nandos... I havent had that in aaaaages. Still tasty?
  10. Is it just me, or does this sound completely ghey? Flamboyant??? Does somethin for me??? Next are man-cans. BRB. Going to wrestle shark.
  11. 1) I think i need a tetanus shot just looking at it 2) The rear wing is ridiculous - flamboyant comes to mind. 3) That front just does something for me - call it growing up in the 80's with Knight Rider!
  12. Update: Toyota humoured me and checked for any error codes. Car is in perfect health. No issue with fuel quality or delivery either. So it may be as Superthai said - fuel saving mode (never knew it had it!). However, this did not happen crossing the Nullarbor. Anyway, since I will be doing the 200km commute regularly, I guess we will see if it happens again.
  13. I had a Bel Vector a few years back. Sent it in for repairs through Ozcom, and they promptly lost it. Never got a replacement, never got money back, too expensive to buy another. But it had served its purpose, and saved me when I was a more aggressive driver.
  14. Ya, i saw it in St Andrews Estate not so long ago
  15. I found my receipt for neltronics - number is 0893837833 They apparently are the main repairer!
  16. *sigh* tis mine tomorrow (27th) This time,I want presents!
  17. Neltronics is the main distributor, but I'm not sure if they actually sell them. I know that Audiocom in Morley sell them, and that they recently had a good sale price on them. I like the Bel Vector series. The detectors that are installed into the car (sensors placed in bumper grille), while hidden, are known to fail regularly.
  18. And soon I will be in the country, and no one will ever spot me. Not that I have ever been spotted. So sore about that. :( :P
  19. I'm almost inclined to say congratulations on needing a new clutch! Haven't you had issues with it anyway? While it is an expense at least you have some good options available.
  20. I do that all the time, minus the revving. There shouldn't be any issues. Most autos these days have rev limiters in them, so it extremely unlikely that anything untoward occured to the engine or drive train.
  21. Good buy, but there are few 05 bras around. I had to relent and have one made.
  22. If you had asked me about 2 months ago, it would have been yours, but i too am about to start driving long distances in the country, so back on the car it goes! I think $600 is way too much. I don't think I paid near that much for it. It may take a while, but I'll try find my receipt for it. I bought mine from a reseller in Albury NSW, but I can't remember the name - maybe Albury auto upholstery? He can order them in and ship them anywhere in oz for you. If I find it, I'll get back to you. I reckon they are worth it, but don't leave them on the car over long periods as your paint may fade differently! That's where the clear ones work well, but they dont last long.
  23. The steering did get a bit light, but it seemed confident enough for me to continue at that speed. I overtook road trains at about 140 a few times , and i didn't even notice it until i looked down! I don't know what effect the body kit has on the aerodynamics; be wary. Otherwise highways? Too easy.
