  1. Please tell me they didn't say 'dire'!!! Bloody crackerjacks!
  2. Yes, my lovely neighbour reported me to the council for 'inappropriate use of water'. Once they saw the washer unit, they turned around and walked away. It can take as little as 2 minutes for me to clean my car top to tail with the washer. I think I might go do it now! I really dislike my neighbour, but I do suspect he has quite serious social problems. His bore is smelly too.
  3. I don't know if I have the time (and perhaps inclination) to head out as far south as Gateway. If you head northwards, please PM so that I can perhaps meet you closer to home.
  4. Welcome to the wonderful word of toyota enthusiasts! Just a word tho: Keep in mind that while stivo's usually refer to Corollas, there are also Echo Sportivos. Just leeting you know 'cos I was confused as to what you were talking about! Of course, some of us are lucky enough to own both an Echo and Corolla sportivo (and a Rush in the family)! Lovely cars all around. Toyota did well introducing the Rush variant.
  5. 10 inches my boy, use it well. I think that going for 1x10 will be better (and tighter sounding) than 2. The soundwaves from 2 speakers will cause independent nodes and antinodes, so you'd have to position it perfectly for you to hear it; any shift could move your headspace into a node, reducing sound quality. Forget about passengers tho, they stand little chance of hearing the good quality. Now I know that this is difficult enough physically speaking with 1 woofwoof, but it would certainly be easier than 2. So if quality is what you want, fine-tuning a single unit will be better. If you want to shatter your teeth and get buxom boosoms bouncing, 2 is the go.
  6. Funny fella. Pat pat. Rob and I will have fun (with you, not necessarily at you).
  7. Where does one purchase spacers?(Never seen them before...)
  8. SO much interest seems to have killed their database - the thread isn't coming up anymore! (or my poota is being nawty!)
  9. You went from lane 4 in to 3, Magna went from lane 2 to 3... If so, the law of the road is that you always give way to the right. Magna is at fault. It's a similar story if you're happily driving along and the person in front of you slams their brakes on and you swan into their tail. It is your fault, not theirs, not matter what really happened.
  10. I will be starting my new job (chief) in Narrogin on the 21st, so the 12 or 13 would be best for moi.
  11. Me-sa went clicky-clicky too quicky (translation: sorry 'bout the double)
  12. Yah, I bought some of the megs wax and cant believe what a good job it did. At somewhere betwen $20-30 (from memory), it's worth it.
  13. Then you get those few sods who purposely get into prangs to claim insurance to fix their cars up, or get new ones...
  14. I've been monitoring them too. See what effort he goes to getting a group sale; I'm interested.
  15. I'd recommend you strengthen the chassis by installing a front trust bar and rear sway. If you can find one. If not make it out of papier mache so you have a template. In the case of a Tarago, I would certainly put a roll cage in for when you f@ck it all up (and believe me, it takes a lot to get me to swear). I would also recommend training wheels on the sides (from a bicycle) for added support. Clean undies at the start are always a must. They will be soiled by the end. Reduce the weight of the vehicle; remove yourself when cornering or driving fast - easy way to lose upwards of what say, 60kg on the vehicle? Always, but ALWAYS take P plates off. They ruin the aerodynamics of the car. Spoiler. BIG one. Bald tyres - these will let you drift around corners ,swinging the back end out thereby reducing understeer. Physically plausible. No offence intended. Just making people laugh.
  16. HS!!! Looking at his record, I wonder why they didn't fill out what 'weapon' he used...
  17. Duuu-uuh! We all have cars so we kind find her and stalk... Oh, did that come out loud?
  18. Ewww Eau de Nelson! Why did it sound moist when I last spoke to you... lots of squelchy sounds. Must be all the rain we've lately. *Ahem*. Sorry Brooke; Nelsons collar doesnt have a muzzle.
