    Even better, I remember UWA running a test where they did a similar test to Motec, but with no driving - they simply got an engine and put fuel through it. I have no idea what the results were, but I'm sure they're published somewhere.

    Have I mentioned how much I love the Matrixeseses? I contact TMCA a while back (5 years ago) and asked them if they were going to bring a model into Aussieland. The simple reply was: No.

    Heh - after my first experience with ABS, I made my mum activate it in a car park to get a feel for it. The screams, oh the ear shattering screams... I'd recommend you all test it because it's quite unnerving the first time. Since then, mother dearest has used the ABS quite a lot...

    Keep trying I guess. I noticed my Echo's speed owas out, merely mentioned it to the Toyota guys (albeit in Perth), and it was dealt with that afternoon after servicing. I don't know what is involved in the calibration process, but it was fine afterwards.

    The car should be fine, but my concern is, well... you. If you don't know how to control the car on gravel, be damned careful and drive "within yourself". Once you've lost control on gravel, byebye.
