alrighty folks... painting has started!!! here's some piccies after 2 coats on the back: (my mate dave (and part owner of the car)) wooot.

ive been driving my old man's 2002 saab 9-3 turbo all week... its an auto, and although its a turbo, im hating it... auto just pisses me off.. there's no power when you want it, and it just seems to want to drive itself... lame... hopefully my car will be out of the repair shop in the next couple of days... can't wait to drive manual again :)

bec i like those first ones... if you want some gunmetal rims, you can have mine! the white paint is rapidly falling off, so soon they'll be back to the original gunmetal... the 2nd ones are already done on a white stivo (mick0082), so go for something original... i still like the idea of having dark rims though... hot hot hot... you dont need a bec's wheel fund either!!

alrighty ladies and gentlemen... its time for an update... today is painting day... we spent the morning doing the final preparations to get the body ready, sanding some filler back etc... and then this arvo, painting began... here's the pics: MAKESHIFT PAINTING BOOTH: im done for the day... tomorrow the back half will be primed... and then maybe next weekend ill start the actual colour... :)

well i think its decided.. shadow chrome rims is the next mod for bec... quickly now, we're all waiting...

my sub and carputer are both held down by velcro... works wonders... ive never had either move an inch... then only problem is you can't slide it when you want to... so you have to completely lift it... annoying if you wanna sorta slide the box into a corner and then secure it...

i wanna know more about the combi!!! when the 73 corolla is done (if car is ever done), me and some mates wanna get a kombi and work on that...

ill second jason's motion... wtf? weird little roundabout ways of having a go at someone is just retarded. if you have a problem, then just do the sensible thing and leave... having a go at someone like that isnt going to solve anything... they're not going to back down from their positions. we jsut elected new mods, and theyre doing a good job, as are the rest... we go through this every few weeks these days... just get over it. whinging on the forum just promotes a crap image and we dont want it... if your issue is THAT big, then leave!

nah well the other driver didnt seem to be too close.. i think it was more a poor reaction time and an inability to brake hard enough... ive done a defensive driving course, and i was able to stop my car in the shortest time possible, and i moved into the emergency half lane thing whilst doing that in case i wasnt able to stop, and the other person locked up and slid into me... so i think its poor driving and not paying enough attention... i didnt notice them driving unsafely close...
