  1. It would fit, but I would advise against it as it means the wheel and tire will sit in a further 10mm on each side. Firstly, this will be something you will notice and it's not the best look (wheels tucked in more) and secondly, it will reduce the track of your car which will have a negative effect on your handling.
  2. Depends on which ones. The ones responsible for the Jetstar website were probably the ones at the back of the class.
  3. Care to explain a little more on the scenario. Did you do this because you wanted it to look 'better' or do you have a CAI an want to feed cool air to it?
  4. I believe this feature is only available to the US market Gen 6 Camry. If you wanted the module, you would need to purchase it from the States. It will be the complete assembly including sunglasses holder because the way the connections are made in there. Alternatively, you can buy what is called a HomeLink mirror which not only has the auto-dimming functionality, but it also has a garage door remote clone on it. Edit: Should you wish to contact someone in the States to purchase this part, this is the part number: 63650-06040-B0 ACV40, GSV40..NAP..SE; GARAGE OPENER-WITH, GRAY, TRIM14, 15 This part consists of the entire assembly just like what you already have, the only addition is the garage door remote buttons. This will set you back approximately USD$636.48 If you plan on hacking up your stock one that you already have, the price to get a replacement one from Toyota here is about $206.17. This is what prevented me from doing a similar thing (mounting my garage remote PCB up in there and putting a switch on the panel).
  5. When I looked at it last, it was around USD$184. Probably dropped down in price I take it? Mind you, when I priced it, the economy was bad and the US/AUS dollar was at like .50
  6. Not much help to you,i've read you wanted to install one as well but mine already has it, for mine its a straight swap (supposedly) but having troubles removing trim, :( this is mine, plug and play.. That is a nice switch. Shame about the cost for it, otherwise I'd be getting one as well as I feel I could make use of the RFID components in it for my keyless solution.
  7. Knowing his luck, the site will start working once he does the Shave For a Cure. Will only make the matter more laughable. Well you're not the only one out there getting the issue: http://twitter.com/katephelan/status/1711280721 I'm guessing they were too cheap to hire a good programmer for their site.
  8. Rain and cars only really get me thinking of one thing
  9. If the plugs don't fit, just splice into your parkers.
  10. Don't you have training till 8pm? As Mick learnt last month, we aren't patient with waiting for our food and we will have ordered by that time.
  11. The Sportivo itself deserves more respect than it gets. Especially when you put one up against an Aurion.
  12. LOL. Imagine everyone's response when they turned up to the drags in that.
  13. In my opinion, stepping up to a bulb with a higher output isn't necessarily going to correct the issue that he is having. Mainly because the light is focused as I mentioned earlier, and that it doesn't really light up much outside of its beam pattern. I have HID's (which are about 2900 lumen) and still find that it still doesn't help and that I need to resort to high beams at times, all because it is focused to a small area.
  14. I would say more placebo effect than anything. For you to really feel a gain, you need a fairly decent increase in power or torque. A few kilowatts is not something you can properly gauge by feel.
  15. All part of the filter when you buy it. You can pick them up from your dealer for around $19.65 including GST or for $23.20 on eBay shipped. Depends on which way you look at it. If it costs you more than $4 in petrol to get to your dealer and back, eBay would work out just the same.
  16. Changing the oil on the Aurion is shockingly easy. And much cleaner than other cars with the traditional style oil filter in my opinion. A good guide is the following PDF for the Toyota Avalon which also applies to the Toyota Aurion. You will need a 3/8 drive socket extension and a 65mm/67mm cap style oil filter wrench if you would like to perform this procedure. Avalon Oil Change (PDF)
  17. Did anyone notice that Mick was removed from the list by Rowan <_<
  18. Computer errors following your regardless of the computer you use is just one of those things in life
  19. That was just the general guidelines for most Toyota's excluding diesel models, and previous models of the Camry (not sure until when though). The Toyota service schedule for the Aurion has been bumped up to 15,000km for 'normal conditions' and 7,500km for 'severe conditions'. Both service intervals include an oil plus filter change. The way I do it is get Toyota to service it at the 15,000km interval, and I perform my own oil plus filter change at 7,500km.
  20. Projector headlights are typically lose a very very small amount of brightness typically because of the optics involved. However, this difference is nothing major. The main issue you are getting here is that because the light is highly focused, it doesn't appear as bright. With reflector headlights, you're used to light being scattered in many directions. This gives an illusion of a much brighter light, when in fact it is the glare that is causing that. The best way to think of it is like a laser pointer. If you get just your run of the mill 1 milli-watt laser, you'll notice that the light shines to a small dot and can even travel a good distance. Then you get a tiny cheap red LED light. It will light up more things, but it's lighting ability drops off as the distance goes up. Not the best comparison, but you should get the idea. I just use my high beams when no one else is around... and I have HID's as well. Because the cut-off for the projectors is not very high up, it makes seeing into the distance a little difficult.
  21. Was just browsing YouTube then. On the topic of thrashing your Aurion.... just don't be a d*** and treat it like this: Please wait a few seconds for Video to Load! What a dumb f***
  22. Jay Chou eh? I thought he was some singer. Kept seeing posters up for his Sydney concert every time I went to Easy Way.
  23. Funny that. I think Lee (1st Kill) must have caught it as well:
  24. I most likely won't be the first one there, but it's all good. I've pretty much seen your car as it is minus the muffler.
  25. I'll be heading to the loop after dinner. Would expect to be there just around 9pm ish.
