  1. Well at least I know that there are left over bits in Wacol now.
  2. I have ad no issues with HID retrofits into halogen projectors that are correctly aimed. I have been in front of as well as aproaching those with them, and have had no issues with them being too bright at all. HID retrofits into a reflector lens, that's another story.
  3. its toyota, mate. not bmw or mercedes, not even lexus. Girls dont care how it looks. Hit and a miss.
  4. 22 INCHES of pure Kluger Heaven !!!!
  5. I'm sure if I took you for a spin around Nebo with the Adrenalins, you would notice a good difference. Phil is one of those guys that likes to really 'drive' his car. When it comes to tires, sometimes 'good' just doesn't cut it. Even if Kenda is equal to Kumho, that's not going to be good enough for him. Hence his comment on cheaper rubber. I wouldn't say the best, but for the price that you can get them for, then I guess you can say that. As for the larger wheels, some people are after style and something different. That's excluding the ones with big brake kits that require larger wheels. The only thing that is stopping me from getting larger wheels are the costs involved for performance tires. It doesn't cost more for no reason. It's not that pricey as well. It's only when you throw it onto larger wheels.
  6. Where the heck did Kumho come into the equation?
  7. You Victorians need to catch up. Here in Brisbane, nearly all the Rollas have been taken over by Aurions.
  8. Lift is a type of Soft drink that contains Lemon in it :P if you have it often, you can 'claim' that you "live in LIFT" ;) That not only tastes great, but quite refreshing :D ask a stupid question, get a stupid answer LOL Of course that's your explanation... because it's all the lift you got :o <insert cliché studio audience reaction>
  9. Looking good. SUV's with large wheels aren't my thing though, so each to their own.
  10. Hey mate. Forget about the Aurion that is there. It's actually in the non-driveable, repairable write-off group. In the photos it looks alright, but the inside looks like it was pulled out of a creek. The boot still had water in it up to the top of the spare wheel as well. On the other hand, there is an IS250 there still in mint condition. I had a good look at it all over and surprised it has a sticker on it saying flood affected. It smelt new inside. Engine bay was spotless, as was the underside of the car.
  11. The blower motor is located behind your glove box. They usually unscrew at the bottom then just drop down. Personally, I'd try to get the spring out as soon as you can, but I'm just saying that if you don't, it most likely won't cause any damage. You'd have to be extremely unlucky for it to jam up the blower motor or break something in there.
  12. You're pretty safe from it causing any damage. At the worst, it would most likely just rattle around then eventually work it's way to the blower motor. If it gets there, it could make a bit of noise, but at least it would then be easier to remove.
  13. I think you just answered your own question on why your headlights are dim.
  14. Looking good Nathan. Those rims should help with the cooling of your brakes as well. I've always loved minimal 5-spoke designs.
  15. Spotted Eugene (TOOGUD) at 11:11am going down Nudgee Road approaching the Kingsford Smith Drive intersection.
  16. F*** that looked painful.
  17. Spotted just after midnight going down Edward Street in the city: A white Gen 5 Camry, with HID fogs and blacked out tail lights. Had personalised plates, but couldn't see as I was in a kebab shop. Anyone here?
  18. It's just a design. In my opinion, it looks cleaner than having it in a straight line. Being gated removes the button on the shift lever that locks it between park and reverse as well as between 2nd and 1st on cars that have it. Just because it is 'gated' doesn't mean it's like a manual. Ever seen a gated manual. Completely different.
  19. I'm not complaining. Smart move for them to cash in on the popularity. Works for me. That said, I loved the style of the Camaro concept before Transformers had any association with it. Even if the movie didn't exist, I'd still love a Camaro.
  20. Cable tie Obviously as you have noticed and now that you are asking, that spot is not going to be easy to mount to unless you do a bit of custom work. If I was that desperate to stick it there, I would remove all the double sided tape from the back and stick two pieces of metal tab to the badge so they come out perpendicular to the badge. Then you would stick these tabs to that black part of the inner grill thing. Hard to explain, but the end result will look similar to those air fresheners you clip to your air vent, only one side of the clip is missing.
  21. <Drools> If only I won the lotto. I really, really love the styling of the Camaro and the kicker is that they start from USD$22,245 for the V6 and USD$30,245 for the V8.
  22. From my experience, metho would be best to clean the plastic surface of your original scuff guards. If you are really game and want absolutely NO oil residue left on the scuff guard plastic, I have found that Throttle Body Cleaner works wonders. A word of caution though with that. Take the scuff guards off and clean them outside of the car if you chose this method. One bit of this stuff on your paint and you won't be happy. Throttle body cleaner is wonderful stuff for cleaning glass as well. I use it to clean the shower screen in the bathroom as well. Amazing what you find out when you start running out of resources.
  23. I'd highly recommend against it for an auto box. It it's not a manual, don't try to drive it like one.

    car door light

There would be a little box somewhere in the car (I don't know where) that is wired to the dome light on the 'door' circuit. It's basically just a light control since it needs to control when the light turns on and off after a preset time. Not saying this is the cause, but it's one part of the circuit that is related.
  25. Sounds about right. LOL. I'm usually pretty zoned out when on the road. Had my camera gear in the car there as well. Was trying to film a passenger's eye view and going to do some editing. Don't think I succeeded.
