  1. I'm pretty sure Silver-Aurion is well aware of the ABS check (given his post here), but thanks for giving it a shot. Silver, I would check your RSB bushes and mounts as well. Another thing to look at is your rear seat backrest to make sure it is secure. Aother thing to look at is your tire iron. All of these things have produced a knocking on acceleration on my last Aurion.
  2. Everyone hears things differently. It's like when I have a rattle on the car that I clearly know is from the front, some passengers swear it's coming from the rear.
  3. LOL. Lean... I think she has a bit of play before it will sense somthing wrong.
  4. I'm conveniently taking an RDO on Thursday and Friday. WIN. Ima be lifting the TRD up on 4 jack stands at their highest level on Wednesday evening ad will be cleaning for pretty much the entire two days.
  5. I just noticed that. 69kW is a bit more than a problem.
  6. They are a definite bolt on for a standard Aurion when used in conjunction with a cutom exhaust from that point onwards. In case you haven't looked, the TRD is no different. On the topic of cats, I wouldn't waste your money on a "high flow" cat for the Aurion/TRD... but hey, it's your money.
  7. Actually there is, but it still requires some custom pipework afterwards: http://www.monkeywrenchracing.com/product_info.php?cPath=318&products_id=1192 Personally, I beleive the gains to be made will be with the re-making of the y-pipe where the exhaust manifold from each cylinder bank merges.
  8. Pioneering something always takes a fair bit of effort mate. You have come so far already. Are you absolutely sure there is no way to continue in an economical fashion?
  9. Didn't read the FAQ did you? Edit: LOL, I said the following on March 28 last year: And I still don't have new rotors yet.
  10. The fixed price 'Toyota Service Advantage' is transferable between owners. Whether or not your car is eligible depends on whether it was a feature when the car was purchased. Some cars do not come with it depending on their use (eg. hire cars). To check your eligibility, click on the following link: https://webapps.toyota.com.au/apps/advantage/
  11. Looking the goods. How did you form the angel eyes? Do you have a template you formed it around? You could make some easy money if you make some more I reckon.
  12. Well in the interest of doing just that, I had to accept the challenge. It's SFA saving, but it still is cheaper http://www.sparkplugauto.com/denso/iridium-long/denso-iridium-long-fk20hr11-spark-plug.html Parts: US$62.70 (US$10.45ea) Shipping: US$31.25 Total: US$93.95 Edit: LOL. Interesting. I just looked at your post again and realised it is the same damn shop.
  13. Did she really dog you? <sniff sniff> Smell that?
  14. Interesting read.
  15. Or it's might turn out to provide equivalent grip and is just a marketing idea to raise the price and popularity initially. I guess we will have to wait and see.
  16. Damn. Should have had an Aurion and Corolla Sportivo attend to take out the NA4 and NA6.
  17. Two batteries hey. Care to take a photo for reference so that we have the right information here?
  18. Free? If you can get a free Vcheck from QLD transport, please tell me how so I can save money in future.
  19. The weather is clear. Why would we even be questioning the location?

  21. I was wondering what happened there. I thought Ash was acting a little strange.
  22. Lovin' it mate.
  23. Sorry, will be heading from the other side of town sorry... Speaking of which, I will have company.
  24. What I am about to say is not advise nor will I say it is actual fact... just believe what you want to believe. After working with <blah>, I may or may not have gathered some information. Despite what you may have heard, you don't exactly have a 'credit score' like our mates overseas do. You still have a credit file though, but what financial institutions get off this may or may not be good for you. Basically what they look for is the number of enquiries (no more than a certain amount in the last 6 months... I think the figure was 6, but some may choose less) and that you have no defaults against your name or anything bad. Any other information like your payment history (like if you are always on time or always a little late) is only available within the provider. So in other words, if you have a good payment history with one particular company, it helps to stick with them when asking to borrow again. If your payment history is not so good, you ma be best looking elsewhere. Back to what I said before about enquiries, this is anything which involves a credit check, regardless of whether you were approved or not. Apply for a credit card, that counts as an enquiry. Sign up for a mobile on a plan... that's another. Having lots of enquiries on your file makes it look like you have been shopping for credit, and it can negatively affect your chance of getting credit. That said, having no enquiries can also affect it as well in that they may more provide you with as much as you were looking for since no history on the file means you may be a higher risk. It's all a game of chance really depending on who you are.
