  1. A complete rack replacement can be done cheaper than that. Steering and brakes are not something to cheap out on.
  2. I believe Injen still make them. Like So: http://www.tunersdepot.com/1998-toyota-camry-short-ram-intake-system/injen-is-short-ram-intake-polish-3.0l-v6-122185.html
  3. If you are set on a pod filter, you are better off getting a short ram intake or cold air intake, which has the flange welded on for the MAF sensor. Personally I would put a higher flowing panel filter in from K&N.
  4. If you were to buy one, buy it from a reputable 4x4 accessories dealer. Some are just smoke and mirrors.
  5. You will lose power steering. It will continue to leak until it runs out of fluid. It will become unroadworthy(it probably already is) and could possibly cause premature wear and at worst a catastrophic failure/accident. Long story short, get it fixed.
  6. Contact the Admin for assistance with this issue. Moderators do not have the ability to rectify this. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/user/1-steve/

  8. They have definitely had an impact.
  9. If you leave the fuel cap off does the issue still occur? Have you replaced the fuel filter?
  10. Checked the battery terminals? Checked the earths?
  11. Did you retrieve the other 3 lower injector cushions from the cylinder head?
  12. I would say that would be the pedal stop rubber, which also presses on the switch. The brake pedal in the untouched position sits against it keeping the lights off. With this gone, there is nothing for the switch to rest against, causing the lights to illuminate. The cruise control thinks that the brakes are applied, which explains why it will not work. This should be the genuine part number for it: CUSHION(FOR STOP LAMP SWITCH) 90541-06036.
  13. Welcome, please keep all posts relating to the dashboard issue in the thread listed below. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/49412-sticky-dashboard/page-4
  14. Does everything else work? It is common for Toyota to put the cigarette lighter on the dome light/radio circuit.
  15. You will get diesel rattle, however I would say that he is suspecting a spun big end bearing.
  16. That is a very common problem, genuine ones can be sourced cheaper than that though.
  17. Put a clean rag over the open cylinder head if you use that method. Also, your injectors will likely look different to those shown.
  18. It's illegal to have them on without atleast having the parkers on.
  19. Probably a forum/server error, I would say it will be fixed sooner rather than later.
  20. Engine running, remove the vacuum line to the regulator. Set the pressure and refit the line.
  21. At no vacuum, 38-44psi. Be careful pushing above 7psi of boost if you do go turbo on stock internals. The rods are built like matchsticks.
  22. Hopefully it is just a loose hose or fitting, but it is concerning that there is oil in the coolant.
  23. Turbo upgrades are expensive, even stock replacements are expensive, due to the Hilux running a variable geometry turbo.
