  1. It shouldn't be overly difficult. You will need to remove the inner wheel trim, a few bolts from the engine bay and possibly a few in behind the door.
  2. What is so pressing that you need to create a thread to ask him?
  3. I just copied and pasted this from a Word document without any issues.
  4. Closed. Please search and see here. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/37242-rav4-2ad-ftv-excessive-oil-consumption/page-0
  5. It may have used 2L, not have 2L left. The dipstick sits in the upper portion of the oil level and most only have an inch or so in the oil.
  6. I would say that could be an accurate assumption.
  7. Welcome. Aside from a few cosmetic modifications, there aren't a lot of mods for Camrys. Most things you do will have to be custom.
  8. I am closing this specific topic. I will be leaving the ones that have been pinned open. The more topics open, the harder it is to collate all of the information. For information, please see these topics: AURION http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/forum/3-aurion-trd-aurion-club/ CAMRY http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/forum/8-camry-club/
  9. Topic closed, please search in future. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/49412-sticky-dashboard/ http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/40483-07-camry-melting-dash/
  10. I would say in order to clear the defect and get the car passed. From that point, go back to the non compliant suspension.
  11. It's a very specific/niche market, so I would expect not a lot of support out there.
  12. I would say a little larger than a pin hole. It is likely from the vacuum pump. If you really believe you have a case. http://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/ftw/Consumers/Motor_vehicles/Repairs_and_maintenance.page
  13. "Bound by secrecy?" Nope. I believe Gear Master used to make them for the Australian market, but I am not sure if they still exist. I know that Gear Vendors in the US make assemblies, but I am not sure whether they would make anything for our market. They would be a few places to start looking. You will need a shortened driveshaft if you were to take that option.
  14. Being a 92 model, I would very much doubt it is ECU controlled. Is it slow to travel in reverse?
  15. You are referring to an automatic transmission, this topic is based on a manual transmission. For the manual transmission there are aftermarket overdrive assemblies available for certain vehicles.
  16. Any pictures? It may require replacing the unit.
  17. If they provide you with a detailed list of what they have tested, you are still obligated to pay as they have spent time on your vehicle to attempt to find the fault. As stated by (mr2) above.
  18. I think he forgot to mention he was defected for that as well.
  19. Have the method tested that I suggested above. Start the car from the key at the OFF position, let it stall, then attempt to start the engine again without returning to the OFF position. Does it start the second time? From there, return the key to the OFF position and attempt to start again. Does it start the third time? Also, get the "mechanic" to bridge terminals TE1 and E1 of the data link connector located under the bonnet near the LH strut tower. Read the fault codes(on the dash check engine light), if any and let us know the outcome. I think I have seen this fault before, but I will wait for further information first. Below is a list of fault codes.
