  1. Later models can be accessed via the stereo. Our model will likely have to be changed using a dealer style plug in application.
  2. It might be time to start thinking about getting a professional to fix the problem.
  3. Not sure if it was the same brand as he was referring to, but it works well.
  4. You're kidding right? The hatch and bumper are completely different!
  5. After it stalls, can it be restarted without switching the key to the off position?
  6. This stuff works very well. https://www.autobarn.com.au/stag-jointing-paste-200-gram-tube-sg200
  7. News just in: Chiropractor shortage due to forums! :P Try using Photobucket to add photos in future, it will save necks.
  8. This thread is almost 8 years old and the answer has been found. Please look at the dates and refrain from necrobumping these threads unless absolutely necessary.
  9. It could also be the VVT-i rattle which is very common. If you do a search you will find more info.
  10. Price gouging at it's best. Although you are in WA, where everything becomes expensive.
  11. As above, sounds very much like a faulty sender. You could rule out the gauge by earthing the connector at the sender.
  12. She could have hidden the skin colour under garments...not that I was looking closely or anything.
  13. Must be that forum auto-change feature... :P
  14. There is a good chance it may be incorporated in the cover. If you do remove it, have something to fight fires nearby.
  15. Depending on the style of sender, you may be able to earth out the gauge and check to see if it still functions correctly, that way eliminating that as a faulty component.
  16. I understood your original post. I just was curious as to which tyres you were running as I have seen issues in the past of rubbing caused by that. Depending on state regulations, you may have issues with roadworthiness. Have you tried newhilux.net? It is a forum dedicated to that platform and may give you more solid answers.
  17. Talbit, you were warned for spamming multiple threads. Just stick to the rules and there will be no further issues. The thread name has been changed to make it easier to find. Keep all conversation regarding the matter in this thread(it will better help others). The other thread was removed as all it did was link to here. Now, please stay on topic.
  18. The in-tank sender unit would be a good place to start.
  19. There are cases of 33 and 35 inch tyres rubbing the inner guards.
  20. I wouldn't rush into cutting anything, as stated there may have been a variance in the models. From memory 06 was around the change over to the "facelift".
