  1. His passing rocked a few of us pretty bad. It seems that as Aurions are getting cheaper, they are replacing the Corolla as the more commonly discussed vehicle on the boards. Things are starting to liven up after the Christmas down-time period. I think it is a litle quieter these days as well. Overall moving along fairly well.
  2. There hasn't been any talk about one since Pete(69.NIX) passed away.
  3. Should be clipped you can usually pry the clips the bottom where the hose enters. The clip should be similar in design to this.
  4. You could buy a workshop manual, it will give you a more elaborate description than we can possibly give you. Essentially you are just removing and replacing each component. You will also need to swap over the vacuum lines and valves to suit.
  5. The member has not been online since the date this was posted.
  6. Your best bet would be to find a donor car at the wreckers and get the full system. The racks are different between them as well.
  7. Read the buy and sell rules before you consider selling items. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/42346-updated-buy-and-sell-rules/
  8. LOL, not sure if this is a serious topic... Are you intending on running it 24/7?
  9. How did you manage to get it replaced?
  10. I think Jim could very well be somewhere near the money with the injector idea.
  11. I am assuming you a referring to the CVT(Continuously Variable Transmision)?
  12. You can also purchase old factory service manuals on eBay and other such book selling websites.
  13. There is clearly an external issue that is causing the same fault with a replaced component. Throwing parts at it, is not going to fix the problem.
  14. Welcome. There is very little done on the 1000KM service. The service guys barely even move it from the spot you parked in.
  15. Ian, Please be aware this post is 5 years old and neither of these members have been active for 4 years.
  16. It most definitely works, you must be doing something wrong.
  17. By the sounds of it, the click is the solenoid throwing pinion out, however the motor is not spinning. You can try giving the starter a soft tap with a hammer when the key is turned to get you out of trouble.
  18. There is no need for a code reader on OBD-I vehicles. Glad to see the issue is fixed. SOLVED. Closed.
