  1. The 8 year one. Get premix or buy demineralised water if you buy the concentrate. Mixing with tap water is a last resort. 6.7 litres. Colour generally means nothing, as different brands use different colours between types. It is always key to read the vehicle manufacturer's requirements and the coolant manufacturer's specifications. Most have a lube guide.
  2. In my experience, a short to ground will likely blow a fuse(not always). An internal short usually won't blow a fuse, but can cause issues. Regardless, it is important to rule out any issues with the inputs/output on the unit.
  3. Molex connectors are used in PCs, not cars. There is possibility that there may be a short circuit in some of the wiring for the unit. I would have it diagnosed by a decent auto electrician. A wiring diagram could be obtained through a Haynes/Gregorys manual.
  4. No one sells a turbo kit. It will all need to be custom made. Custom manifolds, piping, intercooler and exhaust. It will also require some form of aftermarket ECU and better fueling. It will be very expensive. TRD supercharger will simply not make enough power for your goals.
  5. If you don't have any form of tuning or performance workshop near you, this will not be possible.
  6. Inform them that there have been many others that have. If you haven't already, join the "Melting Dashboards in Toyota, Mazda, Lexus cars Australia" Facebook group as well.
  7. You are better off having a custom turbo kit put on if you are after that power.

  12. Dianne, is the switch you are adjusting similar to the one in the middle below? If so, this is actually for the headlight angle to compensate for the number of occupants in the vehicle. The lower the number the higher your lights will aim. Assuming you have a ZRE152 Corolla this is the correct procedure.
  13. I know it has a stepper motor, is the noise coming from it? Can you have a look/take a photo of the part you can hear it coming from? If this is not possible, you should take it to a mechanic to diagnose for you.
  14. It's common with all Toyota navigatation units. Many have tried, no one at Toyota seems to care.
  15. They are the books you want. The "R" at the end of the model code signifies right hand drive.
  16. Haynes or Gregorys will be perfect for you. It has all of those things in high detail. I buy one for every car that I own(I actually have both for one of my cars), as there is plenty of useful information regardless of your knowledge or skill set.
  17. I always use a torque wrench. I have seen and replaced too many stretched/snapped studs(and bolts) from people overtightening.
  18. It will bolt up just fine. It may require repinning of some wiring in the connector.
  19. I did think that, but though it may not have had that due to age.
  20. I just use a high temp general purpose or wheel bearing grease. Works fine.
