  1. JB Hifi, Supercheap Auto, Autobarn, Repco or any other car audio supplier.
  2. You can buy replacements off eBay. Search for H7 socket.
  3. Don't bother with Toyota units. Buy something aftermarket.
  4. I will say no. Toyota generally only put the required wiring for that trim model in. Sometimes you can get lucky though.
  5. Select "Click to choose files" in the reply section. Please post it in the Toyotas For Sale section. Using the template found in the buy and sell rules.
  6. Drving on road with the diff locked will cause damage and also reduce your turning circle. The diff may unlock once that connector is is removed. It did on the one that I assisted with.
  7. Do you ever take it offroad? If you don't, one of the popular fixes is to remove connector for the diff lock. It is located on top of the transfer case and it is horrible to access. Do a Google search on the "fix" and you should get some results.
  8. Welcome. Sadly, the MR2 community is rather small here.
  9. Aunger aren't strictly Big W. They have been around for many years(1971) making aftermarket accessories.
  10. Take a look at the caliper that is worn heavily on the inside. The slides or piston may be sticking. The rotor 100% needs replacing. Replace as a pair. Verniers can give a false result if the lip on the rotor is larger than the recess in the vernier caliper. A micrometer is a better option, but it may be cost prohibitive.
  11. Excellent product; however, I would not advise using it for this application, as it will harden the rubber. It is better suited for things like water and oil jointing, where a paper or metal gasket is not available.
  12. You will need a small amount of form in place gasket(FIPG). Use it in the sharp angles where the valve cover goes over the cam caps. Brake cleaner is fine, just spray it onto a clean rag, the use the rag to wipe. You don't need to use it unless there is excessive mess to be removed. Use a criss-cross tightening method to ensure the gasket is not pushed out. Do not over-tighten.
  13. If this is the toughest thing in life you have to deal with, you are doing pretty well. 😊
  14. Do you have a test light or multimeter?
  15. Voltage should be around 14V when running. It would suggest the alternator is not functioning. This may be due to a wiring issue or a faulty alternator. You could have potentially unplugged or damage in the process.
  16. You will want to check the voltage prior to starting, during cranking and whilst running.
  17. Either self-diagnose with a multimeter or have some diagnose it for you. Guessing will only cost you more money. Symptoms point to poor battery charge.
  18. Step 1. Buy Toyota. Step 2. Throw head unit in the bin. Step 3. Live happily ever after with a decent headunit.
  19. I believe there is an issue with bumpers warping as well.
