  1. You are paranoid. It probably didn't throw a code. Considering you are the first person that I have seen complain of this in 10 years of Aurion production, I doubt there will be a major recall any time soon. I very much doubt they repaired anything. Sometimes intermittent faults happen. As a mechanic, these are the most frustrating of all.
  2. That should be fairly easy to repair provided there is enough length.
  3. Have you checked the boot seal?
  4. I don't think it will be as loud as they are saying. Worst case throw another muffler in if it is.
  5. Barking up the wrong tree = looking in the wrong place. Yes. Not for a few years and not on my current setup(bigger turbo, etc). It runs just fine. This topic is not the right place for that discussion though.
  6. I have only seen 1 person here actually obtain any worthwhile power gains and he is no longer an active member(it may have blown up). He ran a turbo with an aftermarket ECU. I think you are barking up the wrong tree. Contact Adaptronic and enquire about purchasing one of their ECUs. They have had experience with the 2GR engine in Steve Pembreys AE86 drift car.
  7. On paper, they all look worth buying(price pending). It might pay to have a mechanic look at them.
  8. I think you are failing to understand that there were probably less than 700 of these vehicles ever made and far fewer have joined forums. There would be a fair amount blown up and written off. Many owners would also be happy with the power as it was delivered/would not have the funds to conduct any form of ECU modifications.
  9. Correct measuring technique is centre of hub to guard as it removes the tyre as variable. This is likely where some of your difference in measurement is coming from.
  10. Guys and girls, please remember to create a topic in the Members Rides area once you start getting your photos of your vehicles. This thread is starting to get fairly cluttered now. A lot of these questions and points could go into their own topic in order to start expanding the C-HR sub-forum.
  11. For future reference it is in the Buyers and Sellers Corner. I have moved this post to the correct section.
  12. Supercheap Auto and most mechanics can do them for you.
  13. In regards to the valve, Amayama may be able to get a hold of one, but it is a long shot. Another option is a wreckers.
  14. Meet him where the bitumen ends. 😝
  15. Any chest harness with a belt latch is fine. You can also get a seat hammock for her to lay in.
