  1. I'm a heavy vehicle diesel mechanic. In the past, I have done a small amount of work on some friends cars for them.
  2. Troy at 2XS Racing, Slacks Creek. He has done 1MZ-FE headers in the past for a member here. I have also had work done by him and it is high quality. https://www.facebook.com/2XSRacing These are the headers.
  3. You are correct. I replied on my phone and could not see the attachment. There is a curve under the pump as well, I didn't pay a huge amount of attention to the rear of the engine.
  4. I haven't removed the sump; however, I have removed the oil pump, which is at the curve and where it is most common to leak. From memory, it looked like the exhaust needed to be dropped like many FWD Toyotas.
  5. Feel the carpet up in the footwell area.
  6. No personal experiences with other brands of shocks as I find KYB suit my needs.
  7. If money is the issue, springs/shocks is probably the cheapest route for new components. You may be able to get cheaper stuff, but that is the combo I would personally go with having used them in the past.
  8. I haven't heard much in regards to the finance side from them. They were definitely trying to upsell you; think, would you like fries/chips and a drink with that?
  9. King springs aren't very expensive new. Check out their catalogue.
  10. There is a heap of info out there; however, the general rule is never go lower than the manufacturer.
  11. The numbers just aren't there anymore, members and vehicles have moved on as well as people having other commitments.
  12. Sell them. Not worth killing someone when the wheel comes off.
  13. Just find what suits your needs. There are plenty of units on eBay etc. that should work. Our forum sponsor Eonon may even have something of use to you.
  14. You will need to remove the trim around it to inspect it further.
  15. Is the shift knob or the shifter shaft loose?
  16. The 40 series tends to run on, so personally that would be a welcome change on the 50 series.
