1100kg? did u actually weigh it on a weigh bridge??

cos a full standard trim stock stivo will never ever weigh anywhere near 1100 kg :(

unless urs is semi to full stripped than 1100 kg cant be right unfortunately..

my stivo with half gutted interior, cf hood and semi forged rims weighs 1100 kg with half tank of fuel and no passengers....this was weighed on a mates weigh bridge at his factory

so yeah should go weigh ya car on a weigh bridge to get a more accurate result

Mine weighs 1319kg with full load of fuel and me in it. weighed it a bit over a year ago.

100kg seems very wrong unless you have removed all the interior and glass as well as you weigh something like Wei Wei :P

Sounds more like a corolla ascent/conquest which way 1070kg

stivos are at least 1200kg (1224 says Toyota)

btw something strange i have noticed

On the car rego (the new sticker you get in the mail) it has all the details correct but says my cars tare weight is like 1100 (cant remember exact number) which is far off the 1224kg Toyota states??

My car is a fat b!tch. 1280kg or something. Get that a55 on a treadmill! (and get the parts put on it).

i know, my rego sticker says my sportivo is a sedan as well... idiots.

as for the weight, you get a choice on the papers when u first register it to enter the weight yourself... if the dealer did it, he was just lazy and looked up the 1ZZ weight i guess. not that it matters anyway

Did they get the year wrong too? My 12/97 sedan is apparently a 94 according to the rego sticker

I queried the sedan thing on the rego with the road authority when I got the car, according to them they classify the hatch as a sedan on the rego?

Hiya,

My Sportivo's registered in NSW and they reakon it weighs 1178kg, it was previously registered in VIC and they stated it was 1100??!!!!

Where are they getting these figures from??? Did my car suddenly gain 78kgs when it crossed the border!

I'd go with Toyota's figures....

I'd go with the NSW measure, as it's put on a weigh-bridge for blue-slip purposes.

The Vic Roads records just goes by what the computer says for each car.

Does anyone know how much a empty fuel tank for a 2005 toyota corolla sportivo weighs? I'm looking at getting one shipped.
