UPDATE 3/5/08

Painted My Break Calipers. Only Got the rear ones done, Sprayed them Gold. They were out of stock for the VHT Brake and Drum Paint so i got Gold Engine Enamel instead.

Here are some Pics. I was very happy with the results. Did 2 coats.

what colour did you do yours ger? get some pics up mate.

Yeh i plan to do the fronts this weekends hopefully

finally ended up deciding to spray them silver..

was going to spray them blue, but nothing else is blue on my car, except the door sills...

will get try get some pic's up this weekend, when i whack my stockies back on, and probably spray my rear calipers too...

UPDATE

Some piccies.

Finished my front brake caliper painting, also Got a nice shot of my car and the harbour bridge, and finally my Dyno Run, couldnt be happier with it.

And apparently from seeing and hearing other peoples past dyno runs, the 1 we were at at SAS is judged hard.

Future mods, currently in the middle of building a CarPC

UPDATE 12/08/08

Hey guys, small update. Did red LED console Mod 2day. Was pretty easy, pretty happy with it except the right hand side Temp buttons arnt bright enuff, so ill take a look 2morrow. Also Battery was flat this morning so my auto Elec is chekn it out.

Anyways the LEDs are Red T5 size globes, i just got them from ebay 10x for around 12 bux delivered.

Heres a couple of pics.

you should bend the LED's over the clock and the climate control screen... this way you will avoid the "circles" in the display.

mic, im assuming there the same for 1zz, but then again, 1zz's dont have the climate control like sportivos so dont take my word for it.

Yeh the circles from the bulbs are more obvious in the pics, but the real thing isnt as bad.

are the bulbs size the same for 1zz?!

think its just the pic thats showing the circles..

its not just the pic...

LED's project light that way.. thats why you need to bend them over a little to evenly disperse the light. i know... i've done the mod.

Hey guys, small minor update. Remember the Boot install with the white LED shininy through the perspex, anyways i changed them to RED LED's to match the red and black theme the car has.

So heres a couple of pics.

      I have the Cruiser Hybrid 2024 and can confirm that AA wireless is not working, still needs the cable. I'm a bit disappointed because my phone won't fit anymore in the wireless charger tray.

      Timing issue, 1994 st204 celica

      I’ve got a 1994 st204 celica with a 5sfe motor, it runs perfectly for 15-20 until it warms up then it starts misfiring and stops. Then when the engine cools down it will start and run perfectly until it warms up again. I have replaced the igniter, internal distributor coil, distributor cap, rotor button, spark plugs, spark plug leads. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

      Hilux Workmate 2x4 bulbar installation...

      I've got a few questions regarding the installation of a bull bar on my 2006 Toyota workmate Hilux 2x4. First off, the bulbar I am looking at will weigh around 30kg and I was wondering if would need to try and get some heavier duty shock absorbers and springs to compensate for the extra weight. Keep in mind that this little 2x4 gets a run for its money and is put mainly through the scrub, basic 4wd tracks, and corrugation. Secondly, The bull bar I have purchased is for a KUN 2005-2012 Hilux body shape, which from brief research will fit. A bit of confirmation would be lovely in terms of will it actually fit properly. Any help and or insight would be lovely.

      Check the spark plugs. Also consider cleaning the throttle body and idle air control [IAC] valve. Search YouTube for the relevant videos for your vehicle on how to do this.
