The Thai sport grill IMO is similar to TRD, with outer side made of rubber instead of plastic. If you're puttin the emblem at the middle, it's gonna look like the TRD grill. IMO lazz, it suits your car colour but not with the original badge colour. You'll have to code it to green or anything to ur creativity. Personally, I don't really like what I see in the photo, but if you colour it say to green? I might change my opinion. :lol:

And it's maybe because of your angle and you took the photos during the night. You can ignore all our opinions, coz I know it looks a lot better in real.

Changed my VIP1 grill to the Lexus Grill from RS, got the unpainted one and colour coded it. Had mixed feeling about the looks.. hmm.. what do u guys think??

It does look good Ingres, however you need something to define it a little. Not sure what though. I reckon utilising some black or chrome may help.

The way I gauge something like this is to look at it slightly cross-eyed*. Then it becomes obvious what stands out and what blends in. The area around the grill (including it) looks a little too blended in.

Great effort mate,at least your having a go,i think it looks very unique. :clap:

similar opinion to Daryl,needs a little something to break it up,this coming from a guy whose grille is all black. :lol:

i will try and find a decent pic of my painted ATX grille and post a pic.

Crazy me is thinking about colour coding it to black.. but seems too crazy to change it that soon.. not sure whether chrome will look nice with my current car.. if not the lexus grill which 51der got will be the answer to it.. kinda miss the VIP1 grill but i hope i will grow to love this new grill..

Sorry Ingres, I'm not a fan at all.

Your car is hot but that doesn't suit. I'm not sure what could be done to fix it.

Possibly silver mesh behind? It needs some lightening up.

Thanks heaps for your help.. seems like the difference might not be much.. will be considering after looking it for awhile longer.. hahaha..

If u wanna stick to the lexus grill, u'll either have to play around or just stay on ur current ones. I think it still stands out.

I think doing that the other way around leaving the four center lines red doing the outside black atm the front kinda doesn't look finished.

Good on you for doing it as well Ingres not many people would do that.

Sorry Mikka, i am keeping the lexus grill, i am starting to like the looks of it.. slowly but it is growing on me.. hahaha.. i have a VIP2 grill if you are interested.. not in a hurry to sell though..

Hhahaa. .. i can't do white.. my theme is black and red.. so have to keep most of it that way.. reckon red and white also pretty good combi though..

I am really amazed with how the sports grill make the car looks ... most of you put this on a sportivo ... how will this look like on an ATX in burgundy colour ? :)

The sports grill ... do you need to colour coded it? or it is originally come in matt black?

      2011 Land Cruiser 1VD-FTV Engine Won't Start After Overhaul

      Hi everyone, I have a 2011 Land Cruiser VDJ200 with a 1VD-FTV engine. I recently had the engine fully overhauled due to a blown head gasket. However, after the overhaul, the engine is not starting. It only cranks but doesn't fire. I've checked the following DTC codes: Internal memory EEPROM error Low rail pressure The actual rail pressure data shows: 240 bar during cranking 61 bar when ignition is off Based on these findings, I suspect the following potential causes: =Defective Diesel High-Pressure Pump =Leaking Piezoelectric Injectors =Diesel Fuel Bypassing to the DPF Circuit =Faulty Injector Drivers I'm hoping for some expert advice to help diagnose and resolve this problem I'm seeking expert advice on how to troubleshoot and resolve this issue. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

      Hey guys, I’m wanting to disconnect my current winch, lightbar and UHF as I have new plans. I’ve installed a winch previously on another car so I get it’s a case of following the cables and disconnecting from the battery, etc but but safety wise, should I start by disconnecting the battery so the cables aren’t live orrrr? And if so how do it go this haha?

      Snapping wheel and axle studs

      Put a set of standard wheels on it and your problem will disappear. It is critical that the hole in the wheel centre is a snug fit on the axle boss (without wheel nuts fitted). If your wheels are sloppy on the axle boss this allows excess force on your wheel studs and they will break, as yours are doing. If you are unsure of what to do, go to a reputable tyre shop and get assistance.

      2zz idle / roughness when accelerating past 3k

      Hey everyone was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction with this issue I've been facing for a while now. My Celica's idle will drop down to almost 200rpm when stationery after hitting operating temperature. Pretty much feels like it's about to stall out but never actually does. When taking off from a set of lights it almost feels like it hesitates or is down on power and then all of a sudden it lurches forward and gets a boost in power again. Then again around 1,500-3,000rpm it feels down on power and in what I can only describe in the engine feeling scratchy. Past 3,000 rpm it gets a little boost in power again but still definitely feels down on power compared to what it used to be and still has that roughness. Note lift is also not working at the moment but I have changed the lift bolts, planning on cleaning the VVT and VVTL-i OCV's New engine mounts have been installed I changed the MAF sensor about 4 years ago albeit not OEM. After doing some research my main ideas now would be a New MAF this time OEM, TPS, IACV or Coil Packs (Changed plugs 50,000km ago) Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!! :)
