QLD Twincam.org Darlington Park Track Day

Recommended Posts

Well, yes, I had forgotten about Monday as well so it might just be a case of "hey honey, how about Saturday we take a little drive towards the Gold Coast ... there's some lovely little "back roads" we can have a squiz at ..."  :)

Then what do you know?  "Look, honey, a racetrack that I never knew existed ... and look, there are cars running around down there, why don't we have a little look-see?"  :P

Should work a treat.

Sounds like a plan...

SMS me when you get there and I will deflate 2 of your tyres (cause you'll only have one spare) and then you'll be stuck there and she can't compalin... :)

Easy :)

I've just checked the starting time over at twincam.org, it doesn't start till 11:00am which cancels me out as a spectator on this occasion, I had thought it might be a full day so I could catch some action in the morning. :(

However, I will catch up with most of you at the All Toyota Day, no fear! :)

you forgot these Mark

- clean out glovebox

- clean out seat pockets

- remove spare wheel and excess tools

- remove floor mats and spare wheel cover

- remove rear seats, or fold flat to lower centre of gravity and shift more to centre of the vehicle

- top up with octane booster

- if you have time and patience, door trim...

If you have a pit box many of these things can be done there, but boy is it fun pulling your car to bits... :P :P :P :P

Mark,

Remember my car will be empty and parts of the rear reserved for Shaos crap (spare, tools, muffler...) so your welcome to store stuff there too if you need...

Cheers

Aaron

Shao I reckon that with Azza in the car and after he consumes his play lunch and big lunch your lap times will be considerably slower :( B)
