the unthinkable :(

Recommended Posts

well unfortunately the unthinkable has happend! driving to work this morning, about 5:10am just sittin on the speed limit on Northern road near the wreckers and i notice a dog running around on the side............... *boom* i had traffice coming next to me and with their lights on i couldnt see 100% infront and didnt see the OTHER dog. quite alot of damage was done. COMPLETE new front bar minus skirt which isnt damaged. left hand side spottie is missing in action and same with the splash tray. Went down to friends old mans shop in windor (windsor motors, smash repairs) and Jeff quoted me about $1600 to do... :(

Lesson to be learnt.... dont mess with dogs, otherwise they will mess with u, literally!!!!

Ouch!

At least the car is easier to fix than yourself. But still, sorry man it must still hurt as much as if you had been injured yourself .

On a brighter note think of all that extra cold air getting to your filter. Must be good for a couple KW!

OUCH!!!!! :o :o

Bad Luck mike :(

Glad to hear that you didnt hurt yourself though.

I had a run in with a dog once in an old honda accord 3 door :( bent the steering arm and buggered the CV joint after trying to dodge a mutt on the road and hitting a gutter and nearly putting the car on its side

$900 later :( :( :(

Damn mike!

and i only just saw it a few weeks ago in prime condition! :(

it's good it didn't damage anything else bar body bits.

Good to find all those other bits too!

I presume the dog didn't survive?

Lucky that none of the major bits were damaged, panels are fixed easily so if there is a bright side i guess that would be it
