all for 50560 drive away. Finance approved signing tomorrow night. Will be pushing for fuel, car mats and mud flaps as freebies.

That price seems a bit high for a 2WD+7 seats and accessories. i was thinking around 47500K -48500K

I assume it's due to the low rate finance ? capped servicing for 3 yrs and 6 yrs warranty offered ?

That could be the case but i didnt expect it to be that high.

I will take delivery next week of:

Kluger Grande 2WD

front and rear sensors

mats throughout

towbar

front window tint

$57,580 on road

Thats a good price for a Grande 2WD. normally these are around 60-65K.

Carpet mats

Side Steps,

Tow bar

Parking Sensors

Starting Price seems to abt 70K. I am going today and hopefully can negotiate a good deal on the car. looking at the prices on this forum and nearing the end of year I am extremely hopeful.

Well it was a big let down. The Essendon Aiport Toyota guy I dealt with seemed to have no interest in negotiating a price (I do realize he does not have to!). He dropped the price by 4 grand ie 71k.

Looks like I have to head over to Deer Park and make a deal.

My recommendation is try again next week.

The last weekend of the month is when the deals are done as the dealers try and get their quotas up so they get their bonuses/incentives etc from Toyota.

You can usually get a couple of thousand off this way.

This is why you usually see the balloons and jumping castles etc on the last weekend to try and get people in who are passing by.

Hope this helps,

Rock

Try a few dealers, maybe give them a call before you go :)

That's a good price for AWD with the fleet discounts cant complain are you getting the same price with personal finance 3.9% then its good price.

Does anyone have any recent pricing on the Grande 2WD variant? Preferably VIC, but happy to hear from elsewhere as well.

PM me if you don't want to post out in the open.

Looking at the Grande AWD with these options for $69k drive away:

- nudge bars

- front/rear park sensors

- side steps

- tow bar

- cargo mat

I did get the price down to $64k from another dealer but that wouldn't be on the 3.9% finance and would be a Feb 12 delivery. Chances are interest rates will be around the 8 or 9% mark then, so figured even if I pay a bit more now, it will still be cheaper than paying all the extra interest.

$69k with those options on 3.9% is a good deal, roughly about what it costs us. $64k on the other hand, no idea how you managed that one unless you were trading a car in.

I actually got it down to $61,900 but that was based on a fleet price/novated lease. $64k is good, but not if interest rates are going to be 8 or 9% next year.

I never pay retail prices for anything :toast:

Yes it does. All finance is liable to relevant GST, stamp duty and LCT. The price of $61,900 included that, however the dealer couldn't deliver until March 2012 and had no idea of interest rates.
