So you've sold your tivo?

No. I still have it. It's my daily driver.

When you see pics of it (eventually), You will understand that I can't get rid of it.

Hi,

I have a 2009 Ateva (sakana silver) and my wife has a 2009 Ateva (silver ash) as well. Both have full leather and were purchased in March 2010 - mine new off the floor and my wife's a demo with about 1000km on it.

Just had a look at the new Camry on the Toyota website and it looks like an improvement all round. I love the fact you can digital radio, but the absence of a sunroof and the awful rear light clusters will make me happy to hang to what I've got for at least another few years (next time I plan to upgrade to top of the range).

Has Toyota ditched the crazy key-less/card entry system? I hope so. That was a turn-off against getting the Grande.

I find 6th gen (upgrade model with traction control and stability control) a decent car. A bit slow on pick up at times around time, but plently of oomph on the freeway. Likewise, terrible fuel consumption around town, but excellent on the open road.

Of all Camry's, I think the 6th gen and the 3rd gen look most Lexus-like. Which is a good thing. The 3rd gen Camry is a fine car, evident by the huge quantity you still see on the roads today.

regards,

Mr Cabbage-head

Would love to see some pics of the two shades of silver together. I didn't think the startoff was slow if anything it was responsive and that's probably the only time it was quick (taking off in 1st). I find the rev to be hard to go past 4500rpm when i give it a bit, but the speedo picks up ok.
