Fuel Filter

My understanding is fuel filter must be changed every 80,000kms or 100,000kms to maximise fuel economy and due to some build up of particles over time. Is it necessary to change it even if you are using 98 octane fuel like BP Ultimate regularly?

Hi jonathan, yeah mate its every 80000kms, even using bp ultimate its still necessory to change the fuel filter at 80000kms, its probadly due to the bits of sediment and particules that come from the tanks of the fuel station, rather the fuel particules in the actuall fuel.

Need to take rear seats off, only passenger side if i remember right, then the carpet needs to be moved(pretty easy), then find a way to undo the lock ring on it using whatever tools you have
