Tyre time as well. Was going to stretch my stockies but need to be lower and crazy low offset to pull off that look meaning impractical,If I can't do it right I won't do it at all :D

Got myself some Bridgestone Potenza RE070 rubber to be fitted up this week and just a little exhaust work... Hopefully done this week..

Well it looks like i'll be eating my words from my previous post

Fitted up the new tyres but way too chunky for this wheel, more suited to a track wheel so I caved and fitted my stockies on them, yes with stretch.Pretty happy with the result but will be painting the centres and possibly coilovers to complete the look..

Fitted G88 overpipe and Blitz front pipe(borrowed pic) and makes the TOM'S muffler sound amazing now.Was raspy to begin with but now WOW, cold start up Maserati sound, I kid you not but then revs drop and sounds tame,perfect... No difference down low but mid to top range is noticeably more responsive.

Bridgestones looked better, because racecar! :)

Agreed, UHP/semi-slicks always look better with a square/chunky sidewall, proper race-cars don't run stretch because who doesn't need more rubber on the ground? :P

Yes I agree with both of you but me being me it just didn't suit the style of wheel. I'm looking for STI BRZ wheels to fit semi slicks on, was going to fit them on my stockies but I think 225 on a 7" rim was a bit of overkill....Sold them for what I paid, phew

Lovin' it John! And the progress so far has been amazing! I always like your finer details and attention. Keep it up! :)

^^Thanks Pete

Most of you know the 86/BRZ have a sound creator which allows intake sound to enter the cabin, sounds OK but I'm a bit over it, plus now I can hear my gorgeous exhaust clearer..

So plugged it with a pair of Revolution delete caps, I could've just removed the whole unit and plugged the hole but this is engine bay bling :D

Almost ready to pull the trigger on these as well

Yeah Hipermax IV GT, ideal for street and the SP are more track orientated..

while your on your search for wheels........

Let me know if you come past any decent 18x9/18x9.5 +38 offset or there abouts.

Looking for some second hand (decent brand and decent condition) track rims :D

Well I missed out on a set of 18" STi rims but I did find these, trying to decide yay or nay

The stock 86 rims are fine for street use , it's just the stock prius tyres that are for battery powered ecobox drifting.

The only good thing about the stock tyres is that they are such a hard compound , they seem to be lasting forever.

I love the stock tyres, I have two sets now

Finally took the car on long drive,16 months old and done 10000km.. Quick drive to Mel for dinner last Fri.. Flawless on the Highway which made me realize how much I hate driving this car in the City..

I knew there was a reason i didn't buy it as a daily :D

That's why I love the Corolla, quiet, comfy, effortless to drive and a lot more refined...

Anyway just ordered and paid for my coilovers and should be here mid Sep.

Pitstop on the way to Vic
