Its definitely the Avalon replacement, because they're referring to a new "Aussie 6".

Besides, we already know what the Camry will be like.

i actually saw this car on the toyota site the other day, looks like they stuffed up, im guessing its the new avalon/camry as thats what it looked like

it is based on the Camry, maybe they've just lengthened the wheelbase like Ford have done for the current Fairlane ...

I had an interesting thought today ... some of might remember a Toyota showcar from a while back, called the XRunner, it was an Avalon-based, AWD ute, in a gorgeous (my opinion, and I'm sticking to it!) green colour.

Wouldn't it be interesting if the Avalon replacement were to have AWD as a result of that showcar ...

its Quadcam Dual VVT-i 3.5L V6 thats making more then 190kw, this thing is gonna be a rocket, they are also doing a S/C'd model, OMG

It's gona weigh heaps, I doubt it's gona be a performance machine, more of a typical marketing ploy to compete against kW numbers.

Remember that's the same output as the similar size/weight Falcodores and 380 so it will only be on par with those vehicles in terms of performance, it's certainly no V8 eater.

And despite being 190+ kW, it will be front-wheel-drive. :o
