Maguires Leather Cleaner and Conditioning FOAM!!!

do not use the cream as it will leave gunk in the little holes, the foam is a winner and sooooo easy and quick to use.

It also leaves the car smelling clean :)

What he said.

Gave mine the first go with this stuff the other day and it works wonders. Only $17 a can isn't expensive either.

The Meguires stuff is around $17 a bottle I think? Can't remember. I use it to. If you want something cheaper go for mothers. Mothers is basically a cheaper brand put out by Meguires to my knowledge. The meguires stuff is second to none tho. Smells awesome too.

Yep from experinece dont use the cream, very hard work to apply. Takes me nearly over 2hrs to apply, and make sure you use a proper towel i fink terry towel as it helps heaps. I want to finish using it before i buy the foam, i sound tight but yeah. DONT GET THE CREAM :angry:

I agree lol

I made that mistake on one seat, then stopped and realised. I sat there with a pin poking the holes out for 20 mins :( LAMMMMMME

that is lame...

hey do you people find that its REALLY hard to vacuum up little bits of leaves and stuff from the carpet of the corolla? if i get dead leaves in the car and they get trodden into the carpet, its impossible to get rid of!

find the connection to the vaccum that has a brush type thing on the end.... turn the vaccum on and run that over the mushed in leaves... it should move the carpet fibres and let the leaves get out

I use to use the cream as well, ive used a pin and ive use the vacuum cleaner but i still cant all the crap out. I now use eagle 1 leather cleaner spray, its getting rid of the cream slowly, everytime i clean my seats its less noticeable.....The only reason that i didnt get Meguires was because the cream pi55ed me off. Ill get the foam when this bottle runs out

Congrats Robby! :D U can give me a ride now! I got a strut bar last night *thanks BangN* !!! Anyhow, i use the Meguires foaming stuff - and it's not too bad <_< dunno what the others are cryin' about - it really darkens my interior - dark = good ; it's a low gloss conditioner :D - go to autobahn in Doncaster and ask if u can test the products :D that's what i did , there is a chick there that is as good in car knowledge as her looks! B) happy hunting

talkin about cleaning...

took my car in for service yesterday and got the BEST clean and service i've ever experienced at Toyota.

the guy looking after the cleaning did everything, wash, dry and polish and vacumed and cleaned the interior!

very impressed and very happy with the result.

even got 99% of all the dead bug guts off the front bar from my regular highway driving

he kept commenting on how good it looks lowered hehehe

anyways.. back on topic, yes no cream, yes foam polish ;)

I have used both foam and cream. AutoGlym has been the best so far, no smell at all.

Both left gunk in the holes on the seats and door trims, but if you leave it for a day its gone by then anyway. There is a thread about this in the maintenance section isn't there? Link

Mothers is a totally spearate company from Meguiars. Like Holden and Ford in car care.

As for vacuuming get yourself a scrubbing brush and run it over the carpet and it will dislodge leaves, grass etc then vaccuum them up. Do this a couple of times and it will also lift the pile of the carpet up in heavily worn areas as well!!

DAMM ..... just let out another trade secret :o :o :o

Doesn't matter you guys still can't beat the master of CAR DETAILING :P :P :P :P

Upholstery cleaner, Wax and glass polish wise AutoGlym is excellent stuff. I use that on my Escort. Just different paint I guess. The Sportivo likes the Meguires NXT stuff better.

Someone told me Mothers was an infant company of Meguires...I'll punch them next time I see them lol

ok time to tell you my secret. I believe in the magic of oil! Yes amen brothers :D But seriously the other week i went down to horseland (dont ask) and picked up some leather oil, quite expensive ($25) but damn!!! I have been using meguiars until then and this product by far wins, it leaves no oily residue, quickly absorbed and the leather is supple so now and still has that deep rich color. Go the oil!!!

Dylan we may have to go to the races because i think specialized32 said horseland.....

After the you buy the oil you can go to the quarter and do a run, its only a street away from the races!!!

:D

yes i said horseland (i knew i would get the ***** taken out of me for that) a guy at my work reccomended it and the oil says it can be used on all applications (car, jackets, couches). I cant remember the name cause its german (check when i get back from work) but its fantastic stuff. Think i got more " horsepower" when i used it too ;)

I agree the stuff is great, specialized32z leather is so much softer n looks a million bucks

I wouldnt be surprised if specialized32 makes us call him Godfather and Horse's heads start appearing on the forum :D :P :D
