Make sure you have some masking tape on ya Simo. Coz your gonna have to tape up parts because the preface lights are different I think.

Yeah they're a b!tch to do the first time. Don't be scared to really rip into it hard because those headlights are a bit tougher than I thought.

I am going to source a set from the wreckers or sumthing and just do it too them

im thinking. if i buy rims with the red outline i might paint the headlights and toyota badges and brakes red....

unless just all black.

but if i go dark gold rims. i wonder if dark gold paint would like nice in the headlight surround too....

guess ill photoshop the headlight surrounds with red and gold!

i still need to decide on my wheels for my stivo though!

black headlight surround looks good no matter what colour rims you have, so i'd say do it either way.

yea but i meant. why not colour match the rims with the headlight surround.

eg gold rims. gold headlight surround. it might not look to bad.

Trust me, you wouldn't want to do that. Black is the best colour for any car.. If you had a red car, and you colourcoded the headlight surround in red.. it'll still look pretty silly.

we did that on jeremys car

painted the surrounds gunmetal to match his rims

looked good

Mind you we redid them in black jay. Looks bit meaner in black than in gunmetal.

hey guys i'm planning to do this mod and did some photoshoping of colour coded headlights, not the most accurate but its something different. im stilling deciding which colour but the white with be more harder to pull off the look.

i hope the owner of the car doesnt mind
