Hmmm. Where to start. I'm not sure about you Southerners, but QLD meets are all kinds of awesome.

Welcome to the club! I got a friend called 'Ying' as well but he's not a female (I hope). Down in Melb, we usually meet up every month but more recently, more have attended the weekly meets. The monthly meets, we usually have a drive somewhere, say up Healesville etc, have lunch/dinner, take some photos and good catch up/talk. Have a look at this thread frequently. If you feel like coming out, respond your interest to that particular meet in the thread or give one of us a message. :)

well. I am the girl Ying, so i don't think neither of us have met before. thanks for the offer of the meet.. I think there's going be lots of guys at the meet, so i feel awoke :blink: since i be there myself.. ah also my car is not too flashy to show and tell :lol:

but lets see how it goes.. B)

LOL. Completely didn't realise that the email notifications contain post content as well.

Considering our Brisbane meet is pretty much only guys, didn't want to put across the wrong message. Could have easily have been interpreted the wrong way which would be a little creepy.

You are never out of place at a TOCAU meet, regardless of what car you have or who you are. Unlike Boostcruising on the otherhand.

Nah, not at all, my Corolla is no sports car, no mater how much I'd like it to be one. B)

Lol thank guys thou I'm alright at the moment...

I simple don't like talking about it, it just not my thing to endless I know that person well.. Anyway I'm ok now (Y) btw lions dance rules ^_^ can't complain ;)

      2001 Toyota Camry wagon passenger side locks not working

      Had a similar issue with my 2003 Camry sedan. I'm think the mechanism might be bit stiff, so removing the door card and spraying the locking cable (the one that pushes the lock knob into the lock and unlock position on the interior door handle) with some Innox might work to loosen up the old grease and get it working again.

      Hi Ed, Hmm that's a tough one mate ..short of going to Toyota to get genuine and no I doubt they would laugh at you as it's a sale and money is tight right now. I am not sure if you are on Facebook or not but I have seen an advert on there for what looks like superb floor mat sets that do seem excellent quality and a wide range but like most things now they are not cheapish. My best advice is source some good quality ones and search online for someone who offers embroidery as some do tradie shirts and logos on clothing it may be worth a phone call to those sort of places as I know a local one to me does all sorts of work on many things related to embroidery or an alternative choice is the online sites like Temu...       2001 Toyota Camry wagon passenger side locks not working

      Gday, I've got a 2001 Camry wagon which has been having locking issues for a while now, just started occurring out of the blue. There is no fob so we manually unlock and lock from the driver side door, however the rear and front passenger doors consistently have issues. Either when we unlock one or both doors don't unlock and must be unlocked from inside the car, or when we lock it one or both don't lock and the car beeps. To fix that, we open the door, lock it from the inside, the lift up the handle and close the door before releasing the handle. That fixes the locking issue. When testing the locks from inside the car, I can see that they partially lock and unlock, so I'm wondering if they need to be replaced entirely or if there's some other way to fix it. Cheers

      2002 Hilux Engine Replacement

      I have a 2002 Hilux that is meant to have a 5le engine but i think it was replaced with a new engine with a turbo before i bought it. Its a different engine compared to what is in the manual - eg the alternator is at the bottom not the top as per the manual. The engine is seized - tried roll starting downhill and wheels just locked up. I cant find what the engine is. Any ideas on where I would find it? Also 5LE engines are hard to find - any ideas on what else i could put in? Does a 1KZ fit?
