I havent seen a time slip produced by anyone else on this forum that was quicker than Tom's time.

I wont state his time as i will leave it to him to post his slip so he can bask in his glory ;) ;) ;)

Great stuff by both Bill and Tom... and is Jason now the fastest sedan with his 16.1 :P

the conditions were awesome but unfortunately for the 2ZZ, a little TOO cold. Despite having the engine running the oil temp was cooling down too much and I was unable to get lift in 1st gear out on the strip :(

I'm going to have to go out looking at oil temp guages

Lift was running fine in the other gears as Tom can testify to in our run together though. It was definately temperature related as on the way home I tested it out at a few stops and it was working fine then.

Oh well, next time... I may be going back out on the 5th with Toymods... ;)

Great times :) , the terminal speed still tells a lot about about the 2zz's top end (it's about the same as a stock WRX). I am guessing Dylan's 15.5 was from too much wheelspin? Maybe lightweighting the car didn't help tyre temps, but sure helped top end speed though. ;)

then again as Dylan pointed out its the oil temp, no LIFT in 1st and still a 15.5! :P
