Been studying this pic,you're the Stig aren't you?

Arvo :lol::lol: so Strayan

also what wheels are you running there?

Posted

Well, I do carry #1 :P

Wheels are Kosei K1 Racing; exactly the same as Buddy Club P1 Racing hence why one should never buy second hand P1 Racing as there is a chance they are the cheap K1 Racing ;) Only way to tell them apart is by their weight, the K1 are slightly heavier.

Very nice

Cheers. The Bride rails are a perfect fit (even with a Sparco seat). Only downside is the seat is so much higher now. I replaced all the bolts included as they had no markings to show they were high tensile.

And if anyone is curious the side mounts aren't anodised blue; I just haven't removed the protective film from them while I sort out the seat position. Stops them from being all scratched up and looking crappy.

Yeah Dave.... put some mods on it already.... :whistling:

can the rails be modded to sit lower? The Recaro's in Shao's car used to be stupidly high.

Posted

The only way to mount it lower would be to cut the bottom off of the side mounts and drill new mounting holes in them (the side mount to rail interface). I'm not sure which model Shao had but I went for the FX (fixed) mounts so I wont have any issues with CAMS events. I can still mount the seat one notch lower, but that then causes the lap belt holes to clash with the side mounts.

Hilift: Shame Brash Boy closed up shop. I have only seen one other than my one. It's on a twin charged Runx.

Reference to a guide I have in the works for the non-sportivo owners. I've just been slack and haven't taken photos to finish it off. I've got a few guides in the works I've been forgetful/lazy on :P
