small pics and the guy is an ebay n00b (hasnt sold or bought anything) anyone think its bs ?

edit............ lol i remember once i saw a v35 skyline on car sales and it listed heaps of stupid mods and said it made 1200hp and i asked the guy what gearbox it had and he said the gearbox was stock ! lmfao !! also his pics show the v35 and it had no intercooler.

i once saw a VS commonwhore that was stock and it had a really funny descriptiion saying that "it is super fast hsv engine and it can even out accelerate mazda mx5s" and the car had a goldside skirts and the engine had lsome rediculous amount of kilometers on it (like 800,000 or something) and he was asking 90,000 but im sure that the commodore ad was a joke tho. lol.

looks turbo'd to me. You can see the turbo inlet pipe etc from the high mounted turbo.

The brake and clutch master and lines would be cooking, but the turbo fits in that space.

holy crap JP, how the hell did you get that from those tiny pics? haha I cant see anything other than some shabby painted intake manifold and what looks to be a front strut brace.

165 kw at 8 pound...hmmm <_<

My sentiments exactly!

thing is guys thats not sooo bad ..... its pretty much double in power ..... stock this would be running 80kw for arguements sake and by popping 8psi he's double his power ..... however now that i think about it .... it does seem a tad high off just 8 psi of boost ..... hmmmm ur suspisions could be correct

he'd need about 12psi to do that figure unless he's talking flywheel KW.

The turbo gains with high compression are pretty good, much better than supercharged gains.

My old turbo'd high compression 10.3:1 4age put out 101kw atw with 4psi, where my 8.9:1 compression 4agze put out 104kw atw on 12psi at the same dyno.

yeah 12psi sounds about right i think from memory as a rough guesstimate the guys were using 7kw per pound of boost and for this application 12x7 = 84 add the 80 from stock = 164 so pretty spot on .......

then again there is no mention of the dyno or standard used as ive seen my stock sportivo record over 140kw @ wheels as a demonstration from a mate to how dyno's can be manipulated ..... 2 bad for the sake of his license he couldnt give me a print out :( :( :( :( :(
