  1. The steering wheel buttons aren't actually that bad in the flesh. After looking at an Atara the other day, I retract all previous statements about how silly they look. You really don't even notice them when you're taking in the car as a whole, as opposed to them being front and centre in a photo.
  2. That's actually in the ballpark of RRP from a dealership parts department. Besides, thats totally limited edition. They don't come with a dodgy home tinting job from factory, y'know! Ha!

    Actual ft86

Also, as previously stated - OP, pics or GTFO. :P

Or a dealership (or someone else in the know) has already snagged them in the same fashion as Adamsy just suggested.
  5. Or just to be 100% sure... Call service centre, ask service advisor?
  6. It was designed with cyclists in mind.

C'mon now, no need to laugh at the man. Clearly he's as attached to his headrests as they are to his seats.
  8. Well, thats not worlds apart from Atara. But (ignoring the clearly aftermarket rims) if it looks anything close to that, I'd buy one.
  9. Adamsy's ZR6 does exactly that, as far as we know without any extra module fitted. Are we sure there's not some setting that can be changed with the IT?
  10. Shadow - where can I get an SL for under 30K? If I'd managed to find one before now, there wouldn't be one for sale anymore!
  11. I have RDA slotted fronts on mine and they've been good. I'd buy them again. That price is a bit cheaper than I paid for mine with QFM HPX pads, but I wouldn't say unrealistically cheaper.
  12. Metal13, give GSL Rallysport in QLD a call, they should be able to hook you up.
  13. Chasing a right hand taillight for a series 2 AE92 hatch. If anybody has one lying around/knows where I can find one, please let me know. Cheers.
  14. ^ This. You're looking at around $30 for the set. I still don't see why the old one can't be reused though. When I did mine the old gaskets looked good as new. Looking at them, you wouldn't know they'd done 100,000kms, or any kms at all for that matter. Plus if people aren't even removing the plenum when changing the plugs, then they're gaskets aren't being replaced either. (Disclaimer: this is NOT a recommendation to reuse the old gasket. I'm simply putting it up for discussion).
  15. There's plenty of threads around here documenting the differences between the two. I guess it comes down to what extra features you want out of your car. I wanted a sport-luxury sedan, so whatever I bought had to be sporty and have leather. So for me the deciding factor was the leather ad the dual zone climate control. Things like smart start/entry I couldn't have cared less about at the time, but I figured the bit extra for the ZR6 was worth it given all the features it has over the SX6, whether I needed all of them or not.
  16. Well they're a friendly bunch, then. I spose they're comfy enough with their supply contracts with the major carmakes to be bothered about making a few quid out of the rest of us. Thats capitalism. I guess we can as good as rule that out.
  17. No, only fronts, but comparing apples with apples, I think they still worked out cheaper per corner. From what I know, I think you're pretty right about not feeling any gains from street use. The science behind the idea is solid, and clearly theres a good reason why high end performance cars and racecars run them, but for the everyman its probably not so much functional as for fap factor. For the sake of mentioning (for the lulz), I noticed the other week that the urinal in the gents at a local bar I frequent is fitted with braided hoses. I was amused.
  18. Looks great! Love that black glass shine to it! You'll love the look once you've done the rest of the parts and its all complete. I did something similar with mine (excepts mine was black metallic color matched to the grille) and I'm stoked with the finished look.
  19. This sounds........ interesting. I can't picture the sporty TRD with the VIP treatment. Sure we can... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oto-CIKKNR8&noredirect=1 :P
  20. Just a thought, which may or may not have been mentioned before, but I can't seem to find the button to search within this thread, either because I'm blind or there isn't one, and I have better things to do than manually scouring 11 pages at 9:30 on Sunday night (like drinking scotch and watching television). So... has anybody bothered to price up a TRD brake package direct from PBR? They'd likely come out more expensive than fitting the Kluger brakes, and definitely wouldn't be TRD red or have the TRD logos, but could possibly be cheaper than the Toyota genuine branded article.

This is racking up to be one expensive Camry!
  22. Pretty sure Adamsy paid considerably less to get his custom made for his TRD brake package.
  23. Nice buy. A mighty and faithful bus, is the ol' Hilux. I have to question your sanity though. :P Taking a job in the construction industry?! I dunno about up your way, but its dead in the water down here. I'm trying to get the hell out!
  24. Not to mention those flashing lights would be all kinds of illegal. Why the hell you want a new antenna anyway? Because you like to increase drag or because the one built into your back window is too subtle for you?
