    Gold plated ones, maybe!
  2. Just makes sure you have the right tools handy. Trust me, its a pain in the a*se when you realise your plug wrench kit isn't up to the job! >_<
  3. Took less than 2 hours to do mine, including removing the plenum. Sounds like plenty of service centres don't bother to take it off at all, but I figured for the extra 60 seconds it takes to remove the screws, it was the quicker option than trying to work around it. For a service centre who does it all the time, I wouldn't think it'd take 2.5 hours. (Then again, my local dealer wanted to sting me an hours labour to replace the rear brake pads).
  4. Well while we're hating, I hate you both. (But Adamsy already knows that).

What about heads of state of oil-rich African countries who get chauffeur driven everywhere? Sure, they may be a minority group, but let's not discriminate, okay. They also don't buy Camrys.
  6. Yeah a few here did complain about their service and inflating the prices for Aussies. Like Vick, I've also found their service to be pretty decent. They've always replied to my emails within a day or 2, and I when I put through 1 order a few months ago I needed it urgently, I ordered in on the Monday and it was in my hands on the Friday, and they didn't charge me any extra for express shipping. I've only ever had one issue, they sent me eyelids for an Accord instead of Aurion, but they expressed me the right ones at no charge and covered the cost of posting them back the Accord ones. Most of their products are of good quality (hell, their hybrid taillights are the genuine Toyota sourced product), and only the mesh grille and eyelids have I found to be a bit substandard.

lol Matty, who care's about ancap! :P
  8. I didn't take the bumper off at all to fit the taillights. I only had to take it off to fit the lower reflector replacement lights, which were done months earlier.

Wow, well I think we're all a bit surprised by that one. I wonder why they scrapped them? There's really no excuse for such a basic feature as height adjustable headrests, at least in the higher grades, and especially when the last gen had them across the board. This hat tastes delicious.
  10. I doubt it. A lot of cars don't have any reflectors at all. Best example - 40 series Camry doesn't have them. Defyant, I'm not sure of what the actual cost per unit was. I got 2 sets plus a few other things all in the same order, they didn't give me a breakdown. If you get onto rstyle's site they've got prices there in THB, they'll be that plus a bit for postage. I usually email them my order (instead of using the online store) and they email me a total price including postage. Heres that pic. Not the best quality photo but you get the idea.

You sit in the back of your own car enough for this to annoy you? i don't think I’ve eve sat in the back seat of my car lol. It would be difficult to make the rear ones go back and forward as they are sunk into the seat. They can’t go any further back than they already are. Like i mentioned before the front ones don’t go back and forward because they are "WIL" seats and it affects the operation of the active head restraints. Goosenecks are crap and annoying but I’d be really surprised if that got changed in 2014 as this would require a rework of the boot structure. Ok, one more time...the rear headrests do not move at all. However, they should move up and down. Fixed rear headrests are cheap. My point is, that the new Camry is touted as a stepping up the mark, but there are sure more than one or two obvious (IMO) cost cutting measures at play. Looking at photos, the rear headrest design looks identical to current Aurion. If those headrests don't move up and down, I'll eat my hat.
  12. I screwed my sub amp to the side of the cabinet. But my amp only measures about 8"x8", so it fits nicely. It doesn't exactly look stealth, or as you put it "like it belongs", but then a 12" sub cabinet dumped in the boot (as opposed to custom made for the car) is never gonna look like its meant to be there. But then, its only temporary (well, if you can call 2.5yrs and counting "temporary").
  13. 22k seems way too cheap. Was it a real one? Also there's plenty of threads around here outlining the differences between the TRD engine and the standard Aurion engine. The FZE is a bit more than just an FE with a charger bolted on, but its mostly the same. Check out the FAQ and have a bit of a search.
  14. Nice DIY, looks just as good as the premade kits, for about 1/10th of the price. You can get kits like those red ebay ones, but with clear housing and red LEDs, from RStyle in Thailand. I got mine through them. Same reason as above, I like the idea of the clean look of the clear lenses when they were turned off, especailly once paired with the Thai Hybrid taillights.
  15. Also, mine seems to be slightly worse since its been painted high gloss black acrylic then it was before I painted it. Perhaps something to do with the paint absorbs more heat. Or perhaps because summer in Tassie has been increasingly hotter each year lately. Or perhaps I'm imaging things.
  16. Um... plastic gets hot in the sun. Hence its worse in summer. Tint your windows and put up a sunshade. Problem solvered.

Up and down only is still adjustable by definition (it can be moved, as opposed to being fixed in place). Agree with martinj re boot hinges. Goosenecks remaining is disappointing. They fixed this in the 30 series, why go back and f*** it up again from 40 series onward?
  19. Member Aurion ZR6 posted a thread a while back with a link to this guide he did. Can't find the original thread, but here's the link to the guide on his website. http://selectormod.poirus.com.au/
  20. ^ What he said. I've been running HPX for about 25,000kms and still going strong. Superior heat threshold to genuine pads, and with minimal dust and no squeal like you get from the Bendix equivalent.
