  3. which part?
  4. baby tunes... yes its echoing throughout the clinic/home
  5. dude, you have to remember that those figres given to you from the dealers are for a combination of city and highway driving. for the zze corolla sportivo with 2zz-ge engine, the figures say mixed driving is 8.5L/100kms. but when i drive on the freeway only its possible for me to get 6L/100kms and if its in the city, the most fuel it ever comsumed was closer to 9.0L/100kms. yaris is a very good car for its class. while its not the best, its definately more affordable with what you get. furthermore, its not only the fuel consumption that should steer u away from buying a toyota next time.
  6. new stickers posted... oh yeah!

  7. i think he maybe zze... they brought in the zres in 07 if i'm not mistaken
  8. when both engines are off 1) hook up the +ve on the good battery, then the positive on the flat one 2) hook up the -ve on the good battery, then on an unpainted metal part of the car with the flat battery (not on the -ve terminal!) 3) start the good car up and give it a few light revs. leave it on for a few minutes. 4) flat battery should be good now to start. start it with the leads still connected 5) once all good, remove the leads in the opposite order. 6) drive the car that had the flat battery for a few minutes to charge it up 7) get it checked by a battery shop when u get the chance (for free)
  9. IMO wait til there is one that DOESN'T have that gay black box/border around the "aurion" word. looks so much better. and yes the last one does look abit dodge. maybe its the text?

  11. wooo, new stickers coming :D

  12. smooth high-jack LAWLZ
  13. That may be the case for you, but in terms of answering the question you said: Which is a misleading statement because you don't necessarily have to depending on the scenario. oppps, my bad... you dont have to but its recommended. and you MAY have vibrations when braking if u dont resurface them.
  14. bump this thread up! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THAT OTHER AURION ENGINE????
  15. oh you came too? FFS, perfect to give u the filter haha :P
  16. How old is the battery? Yeah definately flat battery. I did mine a couple of days ago leaving headlights on for too long when servicing my car lol. Mine made a clicking sound too :P If the batteries too old it can go flat very quickly, especially in cold weather we have ATM. Tell ur mate to rev the car abit n while he is doing that, try start the car then
  17. I was considering a group buy for the forums. If you wanted me to get some for u I can. :) the factory isn't far from my house. as for the filters they are different. Rycos are Z386 for you n Z432 for stivos. Same thread n both will fit both cars. Just the surface area for the filters stivos uses are more hence the longer looking filter The Baldwin equivalent for the 4AGE engines is B33 (most other corollas use the same filter) Oh and the box is much bigger compared to the filter itself :P that's why it looks huge lol
  18. I'm speaking from personal experience yeah? I found that I needed to do it every time I changed them. But that was with OEM pads. Maybe I should try them with the pads I got on now.
  19. U have to resurface the rotors everytime to eliminate the unevenness of the surface due to the transfer of the previous pad material. Just make sure the rotors aren't under the minimum thickness. If u don't resurface/machine them, then u will get vibration when braking with the new pads
  20. Wow that's not bad... I reckon I can take out 80kgs of stuff in my car including the passenger front seat :) Or... u can do this... LAWLLLLL
  21. Check ur air filter. Maybe its dirty restricting the airflow
  22. Service history???
  23. Yeah I should have used that with the genuine oil I put in to "double" flush it. Oh Wells ill do that next time... :))
  24. Not really sure. Someone I know said the crown as my car got in an accident n they had to overhaul the left driveshaft. I was thinking because of Tue accident the drive shaft and whatever it joins into the gearbox is damaged as well. Not just the driveshaft itself
