  2. didn't even run into a cop car once on the easter holiday... i saw a lot of them pulling over other cars though :P
  3. At least 1:51.1160 for sure!! ;)
  4. i thought u always had plates? then again i never asked and i never looked properly :P
  5. i'd run camber plates rather than camber pins/bolts. u dont want them to slip out during a hard session on the track. plus the plates give alot more camber than bolts/pins i've never seen them (bolts/pins) clip out during circuit/track but i'm quoting directly from a mate who owns a pedders suspension centre in melbourne. with ur body roll just go coils... BC coil overs come with camber plates too. so u win win :)
  6. Hi everyone do i need to make a speech? glad to be on the team. tash and i and the other new mods will try our best to make TOCAU enjoyable for everyone who visits the forum ooooo... and whats this warn button? i can even increase DJKOR's warning? (opps already pressed it...) gonna take me a while to get used to all the new buttons so please bear with me... Kenshin out
  7. 1. yes if u decide to use the upper mounting bracket, u will have to chop off abit off the bracket to make it fit out sportivos becuz it was made for the toyota corolla matrix XR/XRS in the U.S. (or u can be a ghetto mod like me and use 2 cable ties :P) 2. unfortunately u cant get it in adelaide brand new. they used to get it in the dealerships that stock TRD parts if u had the part number but TRD has gone bust in australia so they stopped getting them in. 3. only cherry red.

i agree with this. now for me, the only reason iphone > android is that the apps are far more superior than the apps on android atm. but then again, the apple os has been around longer than android so cant really compete. only time will tell?

xda-developers is a good place to start. If it wasn't for them, I would never have been willing to touch my phone.

+2. i had the gingerbread firmware but for some reason the 3G doesn't work on it so i reverted back to the stable 3.2.1 froyo with darkys v9.3 ROM. not as smooth and fast as gingerbread but at least its much better than the old froyo i had =\

update: i just flashed my phone firmware again with the gingerbread 2.3.3 firmware. the phone is now super fast... i'm now searching for other custom roms that dont have all the useless junk as this one is the official one from google. just as fast and as fluid as the iphone. +10 pts! u really can't expect any smart phone these days to come out of the box and NOT "s*** you to tears"
  12. oh damn...

    Androids

update: i just tried the "rooting of the OS" and used titanium backup and uninstalled some useless programs. phone's speed as increased dramatically... plus i got more space to play with on the sd card :) u dont know unless u start playing with it. i say its worth a shot ;) goodluck mate :)
  14. umm... i should drive without the hubcentric rings and see if the vibrations are there. but then again, i got 4 stud so they might vibrate more than i think
  15. wow going to the 5th owner a little sacrifice you make for better handling ;) good luck on the sale mate
  16. i've got the xtreme lightened chromoly flywheel and clutch. gets those revs quicker to lift and when it reaches lift... its heaven

i am using a galaxy S atm and it pretty good. sometimes laggy but i blame it on the little stupid apps that i dont even use that slow down the phone. i'm going to find a way how to flash the firmware to make it faster cuz sometimes its just ridiculous
  18. Desposit has been recieved... Now get ready for a new level of handling and body roll elimination! :D

  20. if u r in the western suburbs, Olarenshaws Paint Centre - 28 Devonshire Road, Sunshine, VIC, 3020 Tel: 03 9311 2306 or 03 9311 5898 bring ur fuel cap in there and they will match it 100%. my eyelids were matched perfect to the rest of the body panel's paint good luck :)
  21. ok just try the belt size that comes with the australian delivered sportivo. any automotive shop will look that up for u. the worst that can happen is that it doesnt fit and u return it and get the other size right? it has to be tight but not overly tight. i believe there is a belt tensioner and u can loosen it if its too tight (open for corrections on this one). i think this belt tensioner tightens up as u run the engine too. just becareful with specail orders if u order from SCA. they will allow returns but won't refund u the shipping costs so better off avoiding them unless u know for sure what size belt it is
  22. +1, also at least add in castrol syntrax 75W90 + 125ml of Nulon G70 Gearbox additive replacing the OEM gearbox oil ;)
  23. oh daymn!!! :D
  24. any colour but green and orange pls :P
  25. Yeah lol those r 2 yr old gloves im looking for new ones! :)) Yours will be fine pete. When my car was in repairs the engineer told me to change my rears as they were getting low. I was like "yep yep whatever" :P And when the noises started happening, i thought it was the shims until it got REALLY BAD n then i thought OK better drive conservatively. Little did i know they didnt have wear indicators were already metal to metal as u can see! :( Oh wells the upside is that the rda + trd black pads i go on atm are so damn quiet! Maybe its not a bad thing that i got the rotors changed after all! I did remember the trds on the oems were quite noisey at one stage. Glad thats all been sorted now! :)
