  1. Heya, Yep, got defected today for too low. Can someone out there please measure their stock ride height ('09 hatch) from the center of the wheel cap to the top of the guard, both front and rear and list it here please. The RTA listing for minimum ride high seems far too high to me. Thanks
  2. Be sure you have the bulbs listed before you buy. Mine is just an educated guess. Am i right in saying your from the US not Australia? CHECK YOU CARS MANUAL BEFORE PURCHASING!

  4. A 5 second search of google "car bulb types" yields this: Looks to me like left is HB4(9006), and the right is HB3(9005) Do you have a car manual for your car? Its in there, or check the Sylvania bulb guide.
  5. The mirror covers are not TOM'S. Revier from Japan. This design is brand new, i have not seen them anywhere else or made by another company. Give it 6 months and i bet there will be generic ones floating around for other cars. I love em!
  6. Very nice work. I was wondering how "frosting" spray (like glass etching) would go on the back edge of the perspex? im thinking you would get even more output.. or even a light sandblast/ sanding (paper).
  7. why must birds continually poop on my cars?? Dam i need a garage!

  9. After a wash and dry, i hit the LS with Megs ultimate quik detailer as Davo mentioned. Wow, beautiful finish and the LS hasnt had a polish or wax since i have owned it, only a clay last week. I had 3 people in one night comment on the shine... thats impressing! Thanks Davo :) Will do the full AutoGlym system when i have some more time to spend on it..
  10. Toyota premium dual horn, or lexus is the same. Much better. I have then on both of my cars. Search ebay for them, around AU100 from Japan. Plug n play

  19. A little more TOM'S in my life.... TOM'S Carbon Antenna installed. I bent my bendy OEM one... dont ask how....
  20. Yeah its pretty straight froward, front lips are generally few screws in the front of the wheel well, D/S tape and few screws underneath. Sides have 5 or 6 screws or plastic clips under the length of the sides. As long as you can easily access under the sides, should be straight forward.
  21. Transformers 3 out soon!! ohhh yeeahhh

  22. Hey'all. After looking for hours on line for a Headlight resto kit, ive finally come across a few worth mentioning. One in particular caught my eye. Finally one kit with a sealant to protect the bare polycarbonate lens once the troublesome Urethane coating is removed. Normal resto kits have no sealant, and you are forced to re do the polishing every 4-6 months to maintain a good finish. Glassylite kit (with "Nano Sealant") Kit contains 1,500grit sandpaper X1 3,000grit sandpaper X1 2 packets Ace Cleaner 5 pcs paper towels gloves 2 packs Hypershine polish 1 bottle Nano Sealant (2ml) This kit does 1 pair of headlights. Cost: AU29.95 + postage I just received my kit and seems quite well put together. Holding off still i get my Halo kit to do the resto and halo install in the one go. Another kit i have previously used and was very very happy with the results, but no alas sealant: 3M Headlight restoration Kit: Conatins: A number of differing grit papers, foam backed drill adaptor, polish I found this at some selected AutoBarn's, or online at ebay. Cost:AU28.00+ postage. (full instructions with pics here) Just came across this one from Glasspolish.com.au, seems to have a UV protectant too. Headlight restoration kit Cost:AU49.00 + postage I have also found this product, its in the US, but near impossibe to purchase unless your in their buyers group. Pity, because its the perfect sealing solution. Renulite UV cured Urethane film spray: http://www.renulite.com/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPEMiICNirE If anyone has any more to add to this list feel free, but lets just keep it to products, not home remedies. More interested in UV sealants and protection than just the sanding/cleaning aspect.
  23. Ha Haaa! Thats Dwees engine bay! I dont think Ive cleaned mine in over a year, it would probably look much worse!
