Acording to the post I made in the spam thread... yes. I quite like it... the general idea anyways. I would like it properly if he had done it neatly... but this is China anyways. Interesting what you said there. Everyone seems to be thinking along the same train of thought. No one here is willing to step aside from going down the classy route with the Aurion. This is why when I had my Sportivo, I was aiming to keep it looking sporty. Your Sportivo was one of a kind. I promised myself that if I ever get a white Aurion I will make it look like Davos and if I get a red Sportivo I will make it look like yours, because Somewhat envious , jut need the $$ to get the real upgrades full steam ahead :P

Just do a few minutes of searching in the Aurion section and you will get your answer, countless people have asked this question and has been answered heaps(DJKOR really hates this question ). Just think about it this way. I will put a lemon on ebay for sale and say that by squeezing this special lemon on your ECU you will gain extra power and use less fuel. So yes, these things are bullsh*t.

Far out, mine is two years old too. Thanks man, you just reminded me I need a new one too. Current one is really started to show its age Today, I didn't do much to the car except drive it to St Kilda beach with a couple of mates.

I found something a bit annoying with the mobile version. We cannot view status update comments or make one etc. Can this please get added on??

Awesome, thanks for all the replies guys. Appreciate it. I definitely will keep the foggies black but I will colour code the number plate holder for sure. Had a speak with my good mate who is a panel beater and we will soon be taking the front and rear bumpers off to take to the shop to get it painted professionally in the booth. While I'm at it I'm getting the whole front bumper painted as well as it has copped a fair bit of abuse from stone chips from the previous owner. I cannot wait, car is going to look immaculate after the spray and a big detail once everything is back together. What sucks though is that I won't be able to drive the car for a couple of days. Don't think its legal to drive with no rear bumper and front bumper <_<

LOL... sorry was panicked...! Yeah.. I have removed the + terminal and of course put that back on! No sound at all when I try to start the car. But all the lights can turn on (except the turning lights). Do you have any Idea whats went wrong ? Thanks !!!!!! Any help is greatly appreciated... My next best bet would be to replace with another battery and see if she starts. Chances are the battery on the car is dead.

Are you overseas ? Holiday?? Definitely a good find man. But seriously, not my kind of car. In fact I really dislike it. Keeping it classy is the best way to go about doing the Aurion (example: Davo). This car looks like the guy went on a shopping spree on inferior Ebay parts and slapped everything together without a care about looks.

Tried this out, doesn't look too good with the foggies painted. Still keeping an eye out for you mate :P.

Yeah, I think you're right. I should leave the foggies alone. Just looked at a picture of the front of the car and the plate holder painted would look really neat. Seriously, I have the crappiest luck these past two days. You know what I did today? Was parking the car behind another car in the driveway, and I smashed the Aurion into the bull bar of the car in front. I freaked out because the car in front dipped so badly and it made that scary crunching sound. I guess I went too close, lol. Went out to inspect the damage, nothing at all EXCEPT the bull bar cracked my Altrax number plate cover :(. Need to buy a new one for the front now. Seriously, TWO dings in two days? wtf! Need to take some chill pills I think, been stressing these few weeks on some unrelated matters and my mind is wondering a lot <_<

So, if maybe some of you saw my rant on the Status Update part where I reversed into a rock lying on the ground in the dark and I couldn't see it. This has really got me in a sh*tty mood to say the least. So the whole rear needs to get resprayed, maybe even patched up because the rock left nice gashes and scrapes on the rear bumper. So I was thinking, while doing that. Should I have my fog light covers & my front number plate holder (the black thing that our number plates screw into) colour coded as well? Or would it be too much silver? I know one member here has colour coded their fog light covers but I cannot find that picture, so if anyone can help me out there. So should I go for it or not? I'm thinking of colour coding them and then in the near future putting some eye lids on.

Okay, so I buy BP Ultimate 98 but the thing is, there are two BP petrol stations near my house, so this is where my dilemma comes. Hope you follow me on this, BP1 is 7.6KM from my house and BP2 is 9.9KM from my house. BP1 is an old petrol station, but Ultimate is ALWAYS at least 3cents cheaper than BP2. BP2 is a slightly longer drive, slightly more expensive BUT this BP is brand new, which means new underground petrol tanks, where as BP1, god knows how old the tanks are! So WHAT would you do? Drive to BP1 which is closer, cheaper but old, OR, drive a bit more to BP2, pay a little bit more and and buy fuel from a BP station that is new(maybe only like 2-3 years where as BP1 is way way older). Only reason I ask is that I have heard some horror stories on the net where old petrol station tankers can really deteriorate over time and water and crap can seep in. I would rather go to BP1 because it's cheaper and closer but what's putting me off is that it's much older. So I always drive a bit more to BP2.

sorry dude but i see you have a nice car and take pride in it, but thesse self service car washes are not good for your paint work, especally if you have a coating of wax, the shampoo has a bleaching agent in it to really remove everything from your paint work so it looks good and you go back to there car wash, if your waxing your car , hand wash it yourself and let the build up of coatings of wax stay and keeeping your car looking goood I'm pretty sure he does not use the brush and stuff there. I think he actually takes his own chemicals and bucket and uses the water hose to wash it off. Something like that.

If I was you, I would have immediately gone back armed with a proper digital camera and take pictures of the pot hole. I hit one not too long ago driving at 70KM/h. Damn thing snuck up on me and I hit it smack bang in the middle. Gave me a good fright like the bloody engine fell out. Luckily no damage. Just remember this mate, when it has been raining a lot, expect potholes, as the roads get softer they will start to deteriorate. Well iv'e just been to take a photo of the pothole and it's already been filled in. I don't believe it, it hadn't even been 2 hours since I did it. I also noticed on the drive back there that the car now pulls to the right. I had the Aurion problem of it pulling to the left before hand so I guess there is more damage done than I thought :( Well hopefully you still tried to take pictures of it. Even if it's been filled in. You can tell them exactly what you said here and said when you returned two hours later it was already filled in. And show the pictures of the freshly filled in pothole.
