  1. Thanks for the feedback boys. Appreciate it! @Hamster, I replied to your PM mate :)
  2. Nice prodigy mate. Got one myself. Very comfortable cars. My mate who drives sports cars drove mine last night and he really enjoyed the ride. He loved the gearbox and how smooth it is.
  3. Seriously, what the hell would this forum do without you man
  4. +1 to black. Black looks mean. Shiny looks cheap and pimp wanna be.
  5. Interesting but it just shows everyone has different views when it comes to cars. I would have thought there was some sort of main stream to the type of cars that people really think have street cred but it's different for everyone. Also davo that r32 is not my cuppa tea at all. I dislike small cars <_<
  6. Ah clever! That's pretty cool then, maybe I should steal leather seats from somewhere heheheh Nah don't. Leather is not worth all the hype. The material seats are better, more comfortable and warmer! :). I just like the leather for looks :P
  7. There must have been the smoking bandit or something What did you use to colour it in???
  8. Thanks guys. They are really both good rims, but yeah 1stkills does look much better. The thing is they only come in 20". Isn't that illegal for Aurion? I heard that you can only go 2" bigger then original (mine is 16")
  9. What do people think about these rims? OR 1stkills?: They are both really good. Decisions decisions. This is something I WOULD put on the Aurion for sure. Anyone know what they are called and where I can find these?
  10. Good points everyone made. That V35 Skyline 350GT looks alright, but just not my type lol. Lets see, when I put on some bigger inch wheels and some mods here and there lets see what people say.
  11. Oh yeah. Another good idea. Thanks guys. Been big help. Will get around to getting this fixed soon. Just very busy these days :(
  12. Pointless thread is pointless? Nah seriously, after someone saying the Aurion has ZERO street cred. It made me wonder if that is really what people think. I wonder if it would have been a different situation if all Aurions came out with 'fully sik' body kits but everything else was the same. Is it fair to compare something like a big car like a 2007 VE to the ZR6? Ask most people and they would say 2007 VE even though it lacks the safety, features and fuel econ.
  13. You are exactly right. Never though about actually having to sacrifice those things to have a car with street credit. I guess you cannot have it both ways unless you have to money. Same with ZR6 and SX6. The SX6 is something can afford but lacks the features as the Prodigy and the ZR6 is still out of my budget. But do you think if I owned this Camry I would have street cred with the kids? http://failblog.files.wordpress.com/2010/07/f845738a-4b58-4d26-823f-6742beacf9ba.jpg
  14. Good point. I guess I read/watched the video incorrectly. My bad. All good mate. For a second I thought what you said could be correct but the thing is I have driven down the freeway that does have these signs installed and they do not represent the amount of KM's left when you compare it to signs that show KM's left to the city. Also in the video it says "closer you get, lower the number". Nothing about KM's. :)
  15. Hahaha, yeah. I was thinking come on Vicroads, out of all cars you put a GTR and it's flying past at a high rate of speed? Shows how serious Vicroads are about road safety.
  16. Continuing from the other thread about someone saying the Aurion has no street cred got me wondering. What car can someone buy that does have street cred but is almost identical in these dot points: *Around the price of $24,000 *High to mid 50,000KMs. *Rated fuel economy *Features (like prodidy) *Power *Room I bought the Aurion more so because it was a sensible buy rather then looking for street cred with my fast and furious pals. A quick search on carsales, anything for around that price range will usually come up with crappy 4 cylinder vehicles or vehicles that use MORE fuel then Aurion on average.
  17. Wouldn't this just add to the confusion of giving directions by numbers? Tourists will start getting all levels of lost if you send them off exit 8, without realising that a new exit now exists between 7 and 8, so exit 8 is now exit 9, and the new exit 8 leads somewhere else entirely. At least by saying "take the Airport exit" you'll send them to the airport, regardless of whether its exit number 8, 9, 12 or 67. This Vic Roads idea is the same as our M3 here where the exit number refers to the kilometres away from the CBD. This is why there was the joke about adding an exit between two of them. So in the case of the above, exit 8 will always be exit 8. Refers to the amount of KM's away from the CBD Are you 100% sure about this? I'm sure it's actually just a count down rather then how many KM's left. At least by saying "take the Airport exit" you'll send them to the airport, regardless of whether its exit number 8, 9, 12 or 67. lol, well it's not like building a new exit is a daily occurrence so being confused is highly unlikely.
  18. lol. is it even possible to build a new exit? Never heard of new exits being built. Even if they did it would be pretty easy to remove signs and put them in the correct order again. It's just one sign that shows a number.
  19. But the sexy car on top of the Moderator picture makes up for it :P
  20. Some people just drive a lot. It does happen. What does happen? :P I meant like, I wonder how these cars are at such high KM's in terms of engine, wear and tear, parts, suspension etc.
  21. Um.... are you forgetting the red shiny thing that sits on top of the engine? Lol fair enough. I didn't think that would have made a difference and it only matters what petrol the engine wants and not the s/c.
  22. +1! I wonder how these Aurions are at 'highish' Km's.
  23. No, this is not like how this one is. It's very simple. It is just a count down from 8 to 1. Exit 8, next exit will be 7, next exit will be 6 and so on. Makes it much easier to say 'take exit 5' instead of having to remember the exit name.
  24. No clue but did you try googling? I just did and I had a few hits. Edit: Crap, I forgot to tell people about my whacky dream about my car. It was like a nightmare. I was searching for cars on carsales.com.au and noticed a new 2009 nissan SUV. So I went in person to look at it and I really liked it. So somehow I bought the car and I traded in mine. But then all of a sudden the car is nothing like what I thought, it had done 160,000KM and the inside of the car was a mess and all plastic bits and pieces where broken and it was like someone had a coke and split the rest of the can all over the car and it had dried up and everything was sticky and just filthy as anything, and the cars power lacked so much when I compared it to the Aurion. I was so upset in my dream I was nearly going to go crazy. That is when I woke up and ran to the garage to find the Aurion still having its nap. For that second when I woke up I thought it was real. Worst dream ever
