    Aurion On Air

    Mate that is awesome
  2. Hi mate might be a good idea to post your question in the 4x4 section which is down the page a bit further as this section is for new members to introduce themselves.
  3. Up under the parcel tray there should be the light fitting which should have a bulb in it. If you take that fitting out and tap into the wiring you should be able to set up a light for your boot that only works when the boot is open.
  4. Hi mate I used 2 white led strips i got off ebay and wired them into the original boot light wiring, lights up the boot nicely
  5. Hi Mate welcome to the forum, enjoy your new ride you wont regret it
  6. Hi Mate welcome to the forum. The Aurion should have plenty of power and torque to tow a 4mt tinny, I used to tow one with a Hyundai Excel :) As for the stereo there are tonnes of aftermarket units on ebay that are direct fit for the original or there are facias available so you can use a standard single din unit. Good luck with finding a suitable car but you wont be disappointed with the Aurion.
  7. Mine is getting done on Tuesday at a local mechanic for $550, was going to change plugs myself but dont have the time or patience so will get it done by mechanic
  8. Welcome mate plenty of info on this forum so enjoy your ride
  9. Welcome to the club mate enjoy the stay :)
  10. +1 it looks awesome mate you are mighty talented
  11. Hey mate did they give you an estimated shipping time for your order?
  12. Called up Toyota MELVILLE in Perth, W.A. They quoted me $40 each... for Toyota Spark plugs! Should've asked if they were gold plated... lol Yep tried Toyota here on the Central Coast and they quoted me $40.00 per plug as well so it looks like import them from the US is the way to go
  13. Genuine factory and genuine replacement plugs are the Denso ones above (FK20HR11). 6 of those shipped for under $100 is the best idea I've heard ... Click here for service specifications (page 3), showing this plug as the only service part. The same part appears in the repair manual that is floating around in this forum (not the camrystuff.com one, but the site appears to be down for the past 3 weeks anyway). That said, I know the Champion C57YC fits/runs and is only $18.55 each (6 for $111.30) excluding shipping from Victoria (that's just the first site I looked at). That engine was running an aftermarket ECU, so I can't say there wouldn't be any problems. Thanks mate think i will stick with the genuine ones and do a bit of shopping. Cheers Peter
  14. Maybe stick to the same brand you have if your not going to aftermarket wheels, 72k from the originals is pretty good
  15. Has anyone tried the Bosch plugs yet? Just about time to change them and not sure which ones to use, stay with genuine and shell out the money or go for something else
  16. Welcome mate the mod bug is hard to avoid once you start using the forum and alot can be done for little out lay anyway enjoy the ride

    Peter's Aurion

Hi Guys just a quick update nothing to much but I fitted foglights and soon hope to have it lowered just waiting for the cash to become available. Not the best quality photo it was taken with my phone will post some better pics once I get it lowered
  25. Mate check around on carsales and you will find heaps of good Aurions in that price range. I wouldnt trust a car that has been written off and repaired you never know what has been done to it, but thats just my opinion. Good luck with it all :D
