  1. Oh no sorry, I meant help you out if needed after you get back from the recon run, cos yeah I won't be able to make that lol Sorry, didn't type that out very well!
  2. Last Sunday of July sounds great to me :D Haven't got any suggestions for the meet in general at the moment, happy to help you guys refine the finer details after a recon run :) Looking forward to another great meet-up, hopefully we can get a few numbers for this again!
  3. Lol you love it :D :P I have seen a Gen 5 getting around Bendigo with the high rise spoiler and it looks pretty good :) I'm sure you'll make it work!
  4. Mad piccies!! Okay, I really need to do something about this lowering situation, although I better move house first lol (damn driveway) Damn my car is shiny though even when its dirty, love that photo of mine with Reece's white cam reflecting off it :D Top stuff to all who took pictures, there are lovely shots there and every car has been represented well Bahahah Trung, I'm glad my comment was a highlight for you!!
  5. Great idea Nathan - the gallery is awesome :D Fantastic idea to put all the piccies in one central place again so they're easy to get to later on.
  6. :( missed ya mate, sorry the car gods picked today of all days...bloody unreliable Toyotas. ;) Definitely missed today - but at least as you say above it gives you the chance now to get all those bits and pieces done and get it back and running better than ever :D And I love that pic too, came up really great! Heheh, whereabouts were you? :P
  7. Great to see this in person at the meet today - what a stunning machine :D Although I liked the sounds of the project for the wagon too, will be awesome to see their progress over the next few meets!
  8. It was great to have you along Trung :) Definitely come along again! I forgot to mention too a special thank you to James, Jeremy and especially Andy for the tools - thank you for having a crack at those tail lights and letting me know what's required, so I'll get that done shortly and get them on ;)
  9. Great piccies as always Lee!! Reckon you could e-mail me a copy of the one with me and my car? It might have to become my new Facebook profile piccy heheheh E-mail is ferretjnr@hotmail.com Cheers!
  10. Yeah chuck 'em up Lee! :) This thread will get moved to the Past Meets section soon anyways. Johnnie, couldn't have summed the day up better myself, great post It was a fantastic meet and greet and nice to get some more chatter in than just non-stop driving; not that there's anything wrong with that but it was a good change of pace :) And just what I needed after a pretty ****ty week at work.. I'm stoked that I've been lucky enough to meet all of you wonderful and knowledgeable people, it's a fantastic group and I can't wait for the next time! :D James, no worries about bringing the Rexy along, I know I wasn't the only one who wanted to see it ;) Great phone pics too Johnnie, it's awesome to have something up so quickly - can't believe I caught up with you again in traffic :) Hehehe... And Nathan, man you do some crazy **** :P But it was pretty epic to watch!! Oh and one more thing, just to rub it in in case there are any Saints supporters here, my brilliant day at the meet has just been capped off cos I got home to find out that my Bomber boys had a win! :D Oh and for anyone that wants to know it took 2 and a half hours for me to get home, but mainly cos I avoided Eastlink lol
  11. I believe the starting time has not changed - it was scheduled to meet at 11/11:30 at the meeting point and then kick off at noon or slightly before. Grr.. stupid Citylink weekend pass doesn't cover Eastlink. Now to find another way from East Bentleigh to our meet point, looks like I can use the Monash and get off at Stud Road instead of the Eastlink exit to connect to Wellington Road. OR get off at Springvale Road and turn right onto the Burwood HWY. Hmmm..
  12. Thanks Tash, I couldn't recognise the front with the new paintjob when I first saw it. I was so used to all the stonechips on the bonnet (you can see them in the 'old' pic). Will be at the meet, just organising accomodation. It's a bloody nightmare. edit: patience shouldn't be an issue given how much work you put into keeping yours clean. Funds will definitely be a factor though! Rofl!! Very true that last line Excellent, well I hope you get the accommodation sorted cos I'd love to see this Cam in person!
  13. Lookin good Andrew! Love this supercharged Camry, if only I had the funds and the patience to do mine lol Glad you were able to get the panels resprayed too, and definitely a bonus about the fenders :D Are you coming to the national meet?
  14. Righto, finally got all the addresses I need so now I know exactly where I'm going :D I like to be organised lol Am gunna go have a squiz at the attendance list again for a bit of a refresher, wonder if we will get the 20+ cars there??
  15. I reckon the 18th or 25th of July would be good candidates for the cruise day :D If you make it the 25th then you guys could potentially go on your recon run on the 4th of July if no one was available to go at the very end of June. Just a thought :)
  16. I'll have to do that myself actually. Question is, do I go to Sunbury. Or do I hang around Airport West and just 'happen' to see you there ;P Hahah, choice is yours! I don't mind, might give my car some more camera time on that new HD Sports Pro camera of yours heheheh
  17. Ah good stuffs, I might have to do that some time later in the year then, gotta find somebody with some stands first! And yep, tightening is indeed a word :)
  18. Thanks for all the positive replies guys :) Rear sway bar was definitely what I was thinking next so that'll be a goer :D And de-badging, well I'll put that on the list for an upcoming weekend hahah I like the idea of leaving the Camry badge on Davo :) Lee, depends how cheap is cheap hehehe Would you recommend Pedders?? There is a Pedders here in Bendigo but when the last Camry went there (forget why... think I was checking a cv boot) they led me on a bum steer and listed off all these parts they wanted to replace that didn't need replacing. Wouldn't be adverse to going to Melbourne to get the work done (i.e. fitting new shocks and fitting the springs). Am keen on picking up a set from someone if I can to save some money, think going coilovers is probably overkill for me. But yeah, am very conflicted over the whole lowering thing and how best to achieve it... Trent, the problem with my driveway is it's solid gutters until the gap that is my drive, then its a slight rise of gravel, meets an asphalt footpath and then slopes downhill onto concrete and evens out again flat. And one side of the driveway is a solid brick wall lol
  19. Excellent, thanks for doing that Andy. Looks good to me, will print it off at work tomorrow as a back-up to the GPS. Getting close now!
  20. Woohoo!! Cheers Mish - can't WAIT to see what all the surprises are!! The Camry will be there and looking mint :D It's going to be one helluva weekend, can't wait to see you all there and meet some new faces
  21. Top stuff Lee - definitely moving to a much more aggressive styling overall :D Am liking the grille, fits in really well with everything. Very glad too that all that hail damage is fixed up and your baby is back to looking its best See you Sunday :)
  22. Awesome :D Might have to enlist someone's help one weekend in the future then. Forgive me for what is probably a pretty simple question, but taking the wheels off and putting them on again, that would affect your balance and alignment yeah?
  23. Tash

    Vick's Aurion

Another hot Aurion :D If they came in a manual I reckon I would have been in one of these instead hehehe Good work on the Varex, the tips look great! Best of luck in getting it all tidied up to your satisfaction :) As for the duck tail spoiler, it's definitely down to individual taste but I reckon it would look nice - maybe get someone to do a photochop to give you some idea??
  24. Looking good Pete - all ticking along nicely! Tint is going to rock :D See ya Sunday!
