  1. All I have to say is ohh...my...goddd... That ride is just incredible Please update us soon!
  2. Hi Robyn, that is one impressive list of mods!!! I think I can only ever hope to accomplish a fraction of that list hahahahah I don't actually mind the airbrushing either, although I'm not sure about the ones on the rear pillars but the bonnet looks fantastic - whoever has done it does some wonderful work, it looks so incredibly detailed. Can't wait to see what happens next, the car already looks amazing! :D
  3. Very nice Aurion!! Gotta agree with lateralus, it's the best black Aurion I've seen here, so if others are hiding they need to put up their piccies too! Best of luck with all of your plans for the future, and you definitely need to join the personalised plate club hehehe NSW sucks with their yearly fees :P QLD & VIC have got the right idea, pay for 'em once and they're yours!
  4. Kyle, Nathan & I have sorted out plans for the trip down Should make it to the car wash (location decided on in 1st post) a bit after 10:30am! The more the merrier Matt, I'd love to see your 'Rolla again! As Dwee said it's our monthly meetup so all are welcome to attend!
  5. Looking very good, and cheap for a full install, especially in Bendigo!! Look forward to having a proper squizz on the weekend :D
  6. Looking great John! The lowering really does set it off I'd like to see a photochop of gun metal grey rims on it too, just out of curiousity heheheh
  7. Looking fantastic - the rims look amazing against that colour :D Must glow in the sunlight!
  8. Hahahahah awesome - can't wait to check it out on the weekend :D Man I'm so far behind everyone with the mods lol But I'll have stereo & exhaust done by the end of the year I promise You'll have to let me know where you got the interior done in town...wouldn't mind something done to the roof lining or 'Sportivo' Embroidered into my rear seats.
  9. Hahaha loving those memories!!! Can't wait to make some more on the trip to Sydney next year!! Hopefully there'll be quite a few of us VIC members making the trek. Hey Kyle - reckon we meetup at say 9am?? You were out K Flat way correct?? I'll send you a text later and we can work out where to meet up and make the trip down. Nathan - want to PM/MSN me your mobile number and I can call when we get near Sunbury?? Where would be the easiest place to meet-up? Then the three of us can cruise on into the car wash :D Really really looking forward to this, great that you can make it johnnieboi - we'll be under the Bolte Bridge late arvo and clear out before night time so hopefully we might have it all to ourselves!
  10. Thanks John :) The only anti-theft screws I've been able to find are black in colour - the last brand I bought were actually too small for the holes so I'm not entirely confident these will fit either. I actually really quite like that idea of replacing them with bolts though, will do that if these screws don't fit either. If I get frames again this time I'll be getting the ones without the plastic in the middle cos they were an absolute pain in the **** to fit (and I suspect the culprit for the scratches on the rear end). Hrmm black badging isn't something I've really thought of...Wonder how easy they are to remove and refit?
  11. Fantastic work Dwee!!! I put my vote down for Spot E at Albert Park - quiet car park in front of the lake sounds perfect to me and hopefully somewhere we'll be left alone :) ROFL at the G spot hehehe I like the idea of grouping @ F and someone can scout out G if its any better. Andy, whereabouts were you under the bridge in those shots you posted a couple of pages back?? Loving those promo shots too, they look awesome :D Unfortunately I've got no good camera gear so will have to leave that up to you guys.
  12. Awesome! What a great example of AE82's, it's looking great. I'm with Evo7 heheheh, full steam ahead! Can't wait to see plenty more piccies
  13. Wowo...another great looking 'rolla! If I didn't want a bigger car I can see myself in one of these - definitely a lot of potential!! Those night shots are absolutely amazing :D
  14. Hey mate, as I've said on Auscam, that is one good looking Camry :)
  15. Tash

    Evo's 1zz

Totally hot 'rolla :D Thank god you made a new thread cos I was having trouble trying to trawl through the old one hahahahah Can't wait to see the S/C stuff!
  16. Heheh cheers!! Feels good to drive around with them on, and it's funny because now I'm seeing personalised plates everywhere I go. I can't wait to see the pics that happen this weekend either Can't wait to get up to Sydney for next year's meet too and hopefully see some of you QLDers!!
  17. Excellent! I saw the weather forecast too so here's hoping it will be just beautiful and a great day to get some snaps :) I hope you can make it too Andy, gotta check out that beast in the flesh!
  18. Hey Kristian, I used to own one of these (albeit a '95 CSi manual); very nice and reliable car. Biggest thing I guess around that mark will be the timing belt & water pump unless they've been replaced recently. CV joints may also need a look at if you can hear a knocking noise when turning. Uhm what else...roof lining may have started to sag also, which is perfectly normal in these cars. Make sure you also check out the door and window seals as these can be coming away as well. Then there's all the normal things really like spark plugs, engine hoses, tyres, any obvious panel damage, accident history, servicing history. Basically if these things are serviced well and looked after well (an easy job) they will go and go and go :D Best of luck with the purchase!
  19. Heheheheh, definitely very gold! I don't think we got to meet each other at the TOCAU mega meet in June did we? Okay, here is a super quick snapshot of them on the car outside, it's finally raining in Bendigo so I had to whack them on and scurry back inside!! I will get some proper nice piccies at our meet-up on the weekend. Also need to get the anti-theft screws on.
  20. Will do, saw his car out on the road the other day for the first time so fired off a few quick texts and mentioned the meet, think he is pretty keen :) Would be awesome if you guys manage to check it all out beforehand, otherwise it'll be a learning experience for us all hahahah Getting v.v close, and I'm getting super excited
  21. Cheers Daryl :D Anything's gotta be better than 'URP' hahahahaha I originally wanted SPTIVO but that was already taken, then I thought of these. It's sort of like Sportiv-oh! :) Can't wait to put them on tomorrow and see them on the car, they've come out a lot better than I sort of expected which is great. Also getting a TRD knob sent to me so if it arrives this weekend it'll be on in time for the Melbourne meet-up :D
  22. LOL I know, and on a Sunday too :P Means I've gotta leave Bendigo no later than 9 hahaha Trying to see if Kyle (Pimp-tivo) will make the trip down with me. Saturday will be my sleep-in day ;) Cheers, I got 'SPTVOH' - updated my car thread with a piccy of them. Will put them on tomorrow
  23. Very knowledgeable as always :) That makes perfect sense and what I was thinking, as ultimately it is your tires separating you and the road. Certainly something to think about in future. My biggest "problem" here in Bendigo are the conditions when it rains; given it doesn't rain very often here when it does the roads are an awful slippery mess. So far I have been very impressed with the stock Michelin's but things can always be better, and I like the sound of having more of a response from the brakes.
