  1. Isn't there 2 lanes turning right into Church St. from Parammatta Rd ? The far right lane has to turn right. The lane beside it has the option of going straight to the freeway or right into Church St.
  2. How does someone lose control like that... He does a burnout, and hits the brakes and turns into the cars... is that what he did. Excuse my ignorance. I've never done a burn out before as I value my tyres.
  3. I've gone the other way and have moved from a modified airbox to a TRD CAI. I figured I should get one of these before TRD USA stop making them... LOL. One things for sure, the CAI isn't coming off anytime soon because it has made a noticeable difference.
  4. Damn that's going to surprise a lot of mps 3 owners... good on ya. :D
  5. That's excellent news mario. Thanks heaps.
  6. How does the 2.25" inlet s10 compare with the sportivo muffler ? Does it give better top end ?
  7. I use narva 50+ as well. Excellent bulbs in my opinion - so much brighter than the factory stock globes and all legal as well. With these bulbs there is no need to turn on the foggies at night. I paid $59.95 for mine at repco. One of my high beam bulbs also blew at the same time. Went to toyota to buy it and it cost $30 each.
  8. Man I struggle landing in lift from 1-2, and the only way I can do it is to keep a little gas on. I hope this shifter cures my problem.
  9. I think bonnet flutes will look better than a scoop. :P
  10. My front strut brace is hot to touch after a drive, so I gather everything gets hot under the bonnet. If you're worried about it you could wrap it in those insulation wraps similar to what they do for extractors or go cheap and do it with foil. I have the TRD performance handbook, and there is a page in it of an old supra which has foil everywhere in the engine bay.
  11. I guess the worst case scenario would be to keep the short ram, ask the shop to give you the difference paid. Get yourself a decent heat shield and plumb the cold air to it...
  12. They're probably going to ask you to send it back at your own expense and then they'll dispatch the correct one to you. It's tough dealing with shops overseas. Hope it all works out well for you.
  13. You could try the optional factory bonnet protector. I have one on mine and don't have any stone chips that I'm aware of. Another thing is to not drive so close to 4wd, trucks and cars without mud flaps.
  14. I did 440kms in my last tank of bp 98 :P
  15. Yes, try 1zzfe's advice with removing the snorkel, ecu reset and going for a drive to see if you like it first. :D
  16. I can't even get the darn bolts off to fit mine. I'm using a 45cm socket wrench and don't have any more leverage...
  17. Is there a diy install on the web for this ? If so, can someone point me in the right direction. Thanks...
  18. This place here has injen at a fairly decent price $218 USD http://www.hopupracing.com/inrdcoairint.html
  19. Then you have been one lucky, annoying ***** then ! I've never had anyone flash their high beams at me for having them on. I've been breathalised at night and the police didn't say anything about it. But I'm sure if I had a sports exhaust and some 18inch mags I might draw some attention. :D
  20. I've driven 3 years with my front 'fog' lights on at night and haven't been pulled over for it... This thread has gotten me paranoid now, and I've turned mine off. Has anyone noticed the blind spot on the driver 's side front A pillar ? :(
  21. I also leave my car in gear when parked just to be safe from the rolls. When you've experienced parking on a steep slope with the hand brake all the way up and the car is neutral, and your car starts to roll - you'll know it's time for a hand brake adjustment. When starting the car, I always make sure it's in neutral before turning the ignition. I don't press the clutch in for a start.
  22. Hitech exhausts do some quality work and have good attention to detail and listen to your requirements. Liverpool exhausts - I would never go to again.
  23. Going through EMS is the best - as it goes through Australia Post and delivered by their contractors and you can track the item's location at all times. If total inclusive of shipping doesn't exceed $500 AUD we don't have to pay any customs/gst/import duty. So if they're willing to ship two TRD SS's per package - then we're okay. I'm in for $280. I just hope the supplier is trustworthy... YES for me @ $290.
  24. Count me in depending on final price.
  25. Whenever you pay for things like this via bpay or other methods - I always make it a habit to write the receipt number on the policy document or attach the receipt if you have one. These large companies have computer information systems that interface to other banking systems etc... and problems do happen. People often get double dipped or the system fails as your going through a payment gateway where your credit card has been charged but, their system doesn't record the payment.
