  1. Only 3 words can describe this "Fully Sick Mate" or perhaps "Rice Rice Baby"
  2. I agree with TJ and Rolla Boy. Forget trying to store tyres and wheels they take up too much space and not everyone who services at home (no don't go there) has a second set of tyres/wheels (either different size alloys and tyre for track or rego or steel wheels for the snow and rego - I used to fall into the econd category). Furthermore how many home garages today can actually fit a car and a spare set of wheels (with a Corolla I can but if I had an Aurion it would be out of the question). Any cabinet would probably need to be metal to be taken seriously by under 35's. I wish I could service my own car these days but unfortunately I spend so much time at work any time at home I want to spend with my kids and I also make enough money now (due to spending so much time at work) to afford for someone to service the car
  3. If you are going for the Corolla factory alloys buy them second hand (preferably off someone from this froum) as brand new they are just over $1000 a piece (I have had quotes from two dealers)
  4. Try these people for ideas (but not prices) http://www.trc-tuning.com/index_shop.htm Corolla E12 is what you would be looking for
  5. Check your insurance too. NRMA had told me that they would only cover up to 30mm drop in height and I have heard a few others are similar
  6. For those who are interested Terry Shields at Parramatta had a set of the optional sports springs for the ZZE for $250 instead of the normal $450 (or whatever) last weekend
  7. Has anyone else noticed that the TRD website is still showing the TRD Aurion and Hilux as "available now"? When were they meant to be discontinued? And the latest thing in the TRD Vehicles News section is the May 08 release of the Hilux
  8. TRD do offer a sports suspension kit for it so it was bound to happen
  9. It cost me just under 1500 to have done (and that was the cheapest of 6 quotes) on my MCV36R MY06 500 per light (light only) 150 (I think) for the OEM switch gear (but you can save this by using a simple switch like lateralus suggested and the balance for other parts and installation As part of cost cutting the wiring is not there and the factory loom was another 800 so I did not go for that Slightly left of field ask for the pricing for a pre facelift bumper and lights From memory genuine pre-facelift lights were a lot cheaper
  10. How many km have people got out of their factory shock absorbers?
  11. freaking dealers try to rip you off anyways not worth it might as well DIY if u no what i mean ebay that shyt lolz.950 just for 2 freaking lights thats bull. might as well say you upgraded to the high range model the SX extra 4k more for fogs, new headunit 6stacker bluetooth, side skirts mudflaps, and rims. dam dealers For some daft reason Toyota seem to be expensive if you want foglights fitted (as a factory option on a low spec Ford Territory it's $200 though for a Mazda 3 it's a RRP of 575 +fitting) for my 36 series Camry I ended up forking out 1500 and the lights themselves are seriously around $500 a piece (I got 6 quotes). What they may be referring to with the issue of illegality is that there would be no light on the dash to indicate the foglights were on. Though in general for quite a few dealers if it is not on the factory option list (even if it is on a higher spec model) then it is against dealership policy therefore "illeagal"at that dealership.
  12. Let's face it even Brembo don't restrict themselves to just Red (available in Red, White, Yellow, Black, Silver or Gold)
  13. I see that and raise you a TA22 Celica with R33 running gear, AWD and a 1UZ-FE. The weirdest I've heard of was a 302 Windsor (Ford 4.9L V8) into a Hyundai Excel. The owner apparently was a wrecker specialising in Ford and Hyundais. There was also a Turbo or two bolted on for good measure and it had been converted to rear wheel drive
  14. Almost 33 here, but I second Silva's second statement! :D 35 and one no longer grows up as they get grow old they just grow out.
  15. I think you need to listen to those in the know and combine their wisdom an example is Spillage and Blind Kid Seeks Together the two of them have the solution to your problem
  16. No idea what wow is but when I was your age (before the internet) hard earned cash was spent on only one of two things toys (cars, bikes, boats and bits for cars, bikes and boats) and going out to "sink beer and chase chicks" (no offense to any female members, we weren't very politically correct back then either). Seriously there are a lot more worthwhile things you can spend your time and money on that don't zap your energy and numb your mind
  17. Does anyone know what ths image found on the current Corolla factory alloys means or represents? (Sorry for the poor quality picture it looked ok on my phone when I took the shot)
  18. Has anyone got images of the Toyota Sat Nav (Australian version) installed in a ZRE Corolla?
  19. 15" wheels maximum on dirt, 16" is too big. Not sure if the Bates team use 19's either, I think they stick with 18's on the rolla. They used 19's on the Aurion they had though. Also, its no longer the TRD racing team, its Neal Bates Automotive only. And Rally Tasmania was Tarmac last year too. And someone put one of those bonnet scoops on a ZZE Rolla, but had nothing under the bonnet to match it. The wheel is likely to be 18 inch as according to their website the WRC model only goes up to 18 http://www.ozracing.com/at-team/wheels/rac...rturismo-wrc/en but they are still dam nice
  20. Now I just want to know who is going to be the first to put a bonnet scoop on like the TRD Corollas have (with preferably something under the bonnet to justify it)
  21. Yes I noticed that I have been going through the Japanese site for accesories and looking through the Toytoa, TRD and Modellista body kits for when we get ours later this year
  22. Just wanted to get peoples opinion of the Tarago's facelift http://www.toyota.com.au/tarago/gallery/images PS I put this here rather than the Tarago forum so I can get opinions from everyone not just Tarago owners/fans
  23. When I had an Aurion my Oakleys (Jacket) fitted perfectly in the Aurion's overhead sunglasses holder, but when I got my Corolla I was very disappointed to find they will not fit neither do my wife's Ray Bans. Can people please enlighten me as to which brands and models actually fit into the 08 Corolla's overhead suglasses holder.
  24. From memory when I got the Grande grille (the full chrome one) for my 36 series prices for all models grilles new were around the $200 mark. But be very careful when ordering, my car was the 06 update but quite a few parts places thought I was talking about the current model which came out in 06 (though I think was tehnically the 07 model) even though I specified an MCV36R MY06 which was the designation for it.
