  1. Just because you CAN fit them doesnt mean you SHOULD fit them!
  2. The TRDs have red and black painted calipers. Looks good to me :D
  3. Does this look familiar? It is a pic of the TRD prototype.
  4. Im just waiting to see how this storm is going to develops. If it passes in time I will be out tonight.
  5. I have also had this issue, but I took a die grinder to the mounting holes so that I could move the bar forward. Mine was causing a rattle that sounded like it was coming from the glovebox.
  6. The QFM A1RM pads are good but are very hard on rotors. I had some on my gen 4 Camry with RDA slotted rotors and I got just over 20k out of the pads and rotors. The QFM HPX as Daryl mentioned is a better street pad. The Bendix site does appear to be a bit inaccurate/misleading at the moment when it come to the AUS gen 6 Camry.
  7. Daryl I think you are incorrect as the US/Japan/SE Asia gen 6 Camry/Asian Camry (Aurion body) uses Akebono calipers and the AUS Camry/Aurion uses PBR calipers the pads are different and also the park brake is different.
  8. just had my 90k service replaced front pads $74 a pair supplied, im not sure if the TRD has a different setup than the other models, but I would shop around a bit more. as for machining, unless there is a shudder or pads are wearing unevenly there would be no need to do this. The TRD do have a completely different brake setup. They have very abrasive pads which have high rotor wear. OP by the time you have worn out a set of front pads the rotors will be very close to being under size in rotor thickness. So you will need to be prepared that you may end up needing new front rotors.
  9. Very nice but we are missing Tungsten which was on rev 1.
  10. The TRD Aurion has 19x8 with 245/35 tyres. As long as you stay as close as you can to the +45mm offset it will be ok.
  11. Silver Ash is 1D4 not 8T4 which is also listed for Tungsten Other colours -> Titan Silver 4N3 & Ice Blue 8M7
  12. Caribbean Blue is = 8T0 as per Rowans (ELEGANT) old Aurion
  13. Front 7599 HSV VT - VZ & GTO - GTS Coupe standard caliper (PBR 2 piston) Rear DB1354 HSV VN - VS PBR caliper
  14. The 1mz was not released here in the Camry until the gen 4 in 97. It was fitted to the gen 3 Camry in the US in 95 thou.
