  4. CSi - being the base model hand manual windows, A/C and driver airbag. ABS may have been an option on later versions as well as passenger airbag. Conquest - My parents have an 01 4cyl but the V6 had the same equipment. Dual airbags, ABS, power windows and cruise control. This is probably the one to go after! CSX - Was between the Conquest and Vienta. I think it had climate control as well as the other Conquest equipment. 4cyl only so disregard them. Touring - Same as Conquest but with CD player and leather steering wheel, handbrake handle and gearknob. Also had sports orientated suspension and rear roof spoiler. Early versions had 15 inch alloys, late ones 16 inch alloys. Very rare to find one and are usually expensive. Vienta VXi - Very very rare pretty much same as Touring but with standard suspension and climate control. Grande - Dont think a wagon was available.
  5. To add to what has been listed I think in the manual it also states a maximum ball weight of 100 or 150kg
  6. The best way to know how good a launch you did is to check the 60 foot times. If it is around 2.5 seconds or less you will probably get a low 14 second 400m time in an Aurion.
  7. If I remember correctly the rear sway bar has gone up about $30 since I bought mine.

  9. Tash I think you will find the aluminium part appears to have a clear coat over it so I would just use soapy water with a sponge or brush.
  10. I will quote myself from an earlier post on this page
  11. We should try the anti squat devices and see how that affects our times :D
  12. The TRD Aurions have a standard fittment of 245/35/19. Ash has recently sourced some Pirelli Nero tyres from St George tyres in Sydney for $273 each and had them sent to QLD.
  13. Did some measuring of the exhaust pipe this morning. Please take note that this in on a TRD so the rear section of the exhaust may be different to a N/A Aurion. The TRD's are suposed to have 15% less exhaust restriction but I expect that this will most likely be in the rear muffler design than pipe size. All measurments are OD. => Front Y pipe is 50mm (1.9inch) from the bottom of the headers to the merge. => Main single pipe from cat to rear Y is 61mm (2.4inch). => And last but not least the rear Y pipe to the mufflers is 49mm (1.9inch).
  14. The Sportivos already have an extra brace from the chassis rail to the trailing arm pivot as the UR is a brace from the sub frame to the trailing arm pivot. The Sportivo braces can be fitted to an ATX/Prodigy/Presara as the stud and bolt holes needed to fit them are already on the body. The front strut brace and 19mm rear sway bar is a combination that takes the rear roll out without making it a wild oversteerer and the brace sharpening the steering turn in.
  15. You may find that the rust colour on the radiator fins is actually where the copper of the fins and core are no long painted. Most new cars now have aluminimum radiator cores instead of copper ones.
  16. Before you go and spend more money on changing the exhaust take some pics and post them for comment and maybe get a run on a different dyno to give you a comparison or go to a drag strip and have a run to test it out. Other wise you could be spending money that you dont need to. Dyno Dynamics dynos have what is a Shootout mode which makes it possible to compare with other Dyno Dynamics dynos, but this will give a very different result if used in a tuning mode.
  17. ZRSHIFT you do realise that you are chasing a theoretical HP that you think you should have! The dyno that you went to may not be accurate/calibrated/operated the same and trying to compare it to what someone elses result on a different dyno usually wont work. Yes I know it was a long way out. Was it a Dyno Dynamics dyno done in shootout mode? When doing performance mods like this it is best to have a before dyno to give you something to compare to what you achieve after the mod using the same dyno. Also I dont think that 2.5 inch pipe work will give you the end result you are after. My reasoning for this is that even with a 3 inch main pipe you would only need 2.25 inch pipe work to the rear muffers and the Aurions main pipe is only about 2.5 inch so the standard 1.5 inch pipes are ok.
  18. It would also be interesting to see what the back of the pre-facelift Presara headlamps look like if someone can post pics. I believe the ballasts are mounted on the underside of the headlamp assembly.
  19. Daryl is correct in saying that there are no extra braces in the TRD's. The 3500S has a standard steel rear bumper support, the 3500SL gets an alloy extruded rear bumper support that is supposed to help with torsional stiffness. Other then that the body shell is the same as a SX6 or ZR6 which the TRD's are based on.
  20. Yeah... that one kind of gave itself away. I just couldn't resist the temptation so I went ahead and bought it. More after the sound than anything else. I cheated because I saw your post on TN
  21. You can get one cut at a place like Mister Minit that will open the doors but as it doesnt have a coded chip in it so the engine will not start.
