  1. I used my lamp holders off an old n13 pulsar, if ur not sure what colour wire does what, just pop the globes into the holder and test it directly onto your car battery. Obviously 1 wire will light up the 5w element of the globe, while the 2nd wire will light up the 21w element. and to find the ground wire for the lamp holder find a good spot on chassis (like a screw) or just do it with the neg side of the bat.
  2. Well guys, got my sussy done today, springs n shocks. It did end up rubbing (front only), but only when pushing it through hard corners + a bump in the road other than that its fine. the front looks real low for 35mm drop . My mate said to bring it back 2moz to see if its rubbing the guard or the plastic wheel arch. Besides that, looks great, handles mad. It was a good thing i got the shocks changed cause when the fronts got pulled out and when hand tested them, the rod (the shiny metal peice bit thingy.lol) rose so slow then jammed half way then rose slowly again, while the rear shocks didnt want to spring back up until 10 mins later.lol Will post pics, just ran outta this months net limit, so its taken me like 30 mins just to load up this page.lol
  3. Could u explain for those less mechanically minded (such as myself lol) what your actually doin? trying to achieve?
  4. With the rate that this list is growing the visors should end up costing $50 .................we can only hope... :D
  5. Hi guys, didnt know whether to post this under suspension or corolla but anyway. Im getting my suspension done tomorrow. Its going to be 35mm drop front and back(king low drop i think), just curious, atm the car has 17inch rims with 215/45 profile, will this rub at all cause from browsing through the forum i read up most people either get 40s or 205 to stop rubbing but i dont know if this had to do with lowering your car more than 35mm. Thanks
  6. I pretty much just want the rear ones, cant seem to find them at supercheap or anything, they sell the fronts (big ones) but not any for the rear. For the guys that already have them on, how do they fit to the car? is it all double sided tape or do they come with a few clips?
  7. I always thought that on you vin plate it states how many passengers the car can carry. I got 2 mates each with their own skyline, both r33s, although one only has 2 seatbelts in the back and the vin states its a four seater while the other has 3 seatbelts and states its a 5 seater, even though there both the exact same car. :S
  8. Oh just another thing, on the pre-facelift, because you have to silicone the lamp holder in, make sure BOTH elements work on the globes..............i had to cut mine open like an idiot cause i didnt check the second light and only realised this morning.lol
  9. sorry, but i meant is there any photos of it getting done? like glued or screwed down? and also for pre-facelift model please

    Rims

If only our cars had hubs like the v8 racing cars, that way it'd only take 10 mins to change all rims over seeing as you'd only have to change 1 nut. lol
  11. Any chance of getting the pics posted back up??
  12. Id be interested in a group buy of these :D
  13. 18s are definently pimp, but if you do alotta driving and the cars pretty low, go with the 17s, there lighter as well.
  14. Spotted silver pre-lift sacked with square twin tip muffler and 17inch rims 2nite at about 7:00. Pulled up next to him around habberfield way, he didnt seem to keen, almost as if he gave me a dirty Nice looking ride though. Also spotted silver sportivo near roselands about 8:00 2nite, honked horn as he turned off (he saw me in rear view mirror) but once again NO BODY I HONK OR FLASH SEEMS TO BE ON THIS FORUM!!!!!!!!!! lol
  15. Did it today on my pre-facelift....so many things should have been done like this from factory. It looks so much better and wasnt too hard to do
  16. Just a though, last time i went dealer, it was $32 for the silver (pre-facelift) sportivo badge
  17. Hi guys, i already looked under the corolla part numbers section in the forum but the link for the sportivo models arnt working. I just need to know what the part number for the sportivo engine cover is (vvtl-i) and the cover for the fuse box located on the right hand side of the engine bay.(in my dp its the red engine cover and the red part on the right side) Also one of the screws has gotten jammed in the engine cover and everytime i go to take the cover off it pulls out the screw/nut that holds in the coil pack.(the top left one thats opposite type of screw compared to the rest of the 3. Thanks guys
  18. Reading peoples opinions, looks like i wont be buying them anytime soon.lol
  19. Well when i first went, i got quoted 550 for cat back, (he said same price for 2 1/4inch) and then another 60 for the proper muffler, because originally it was going to be a normal stainless steel muffler with one of those dodgy dual tips welded on. And then i think he said another 30 for the flanges. But somehow it ended up coming to 620. I went to 4 different exhaust shops, prices got quoted from $400 to $800, and the majority didnt know **** about the car, even though explaining to them that its the sportivo model n all that stuff. So i ended up going livo exhaust, bloke owns 2, did a good job on the cai and im happy :D
  20. Don't mind the look of the mudguard option - has anyone here gone this way? (My car still looks too a55-up without a skirt or something to tie it in with the side skirts.....) Where do i get that grill from?
  21. Personally i wouldnt get either, I still think the sportivo skirt looks better.
  22. Stivo FTW Heres why: lol -Gadgets get old and new stuffs always coming out (can always be added. E.g bluetooth n such, have fun upgrading the engine, id like to see that one.lol) -Why do u need more than 2 airbags?(u live in a bubble.jks) u shouldnt be packing a 1.8 full of people anyway.lol -Stivos so much more fun, i get excited everytime i hop into mine.I suppose you get the benefit of a new car smell with the later model corolla, but the beauty of the stivo is, that when ur in the mood for a lil punch,........it punchs. Prefacelift with no mp3 function, i dont think i know anyone who has kept the factory head unit in their car anyway Thats my 2cent worth anyway :P
  23. Hey mate, just got mine done on my sportivo 2.5inch mandrel bent Mild Steel All flanged so i can bolt the stock back on if need be Stainless steal xforce dual tip muffler I paid $620 fitted. Really happy, n real neat job(i had a look under the car) It comes with 2 yrs warranty with the pipework and 5 yrs with the muffler sounds sooooooooo goooooooooooodddddddddd :D :D :D mind you. 2 1/4inch if its a normal rolla
